i didnt realise they sold bread n butter there
maybe we could petition for a country wide ban on people working on their own cars so that you get all the work
i cant beleive many proper tradesmen buy much there anyway , theyre still dear and have poor stock compared to a factors that will deliver twice a day too0 -
Actually, I found found that they will beat the local parts distributor place. Whom do you think stocks halfords?
You can get things same day from halfords too.
Each have their place.0 -

Good day
if you were a real mechanic in areal garage then you would have a trade account with a local independant motor factor, you wouldnt be using halfords, even at thier trade prices you should be commanding a good discount from your supplier.
halfords trade card as you fine well know only brings the price down to a normal, realistic price for the parts, similar to what the public would pay in an independant motor factors.
you dont have any god given right to fix anyones car,its up to us how, where and when we fix our cars. not you.
what kind of butter have we stolen? was it lurpak? i only like lurpak....work permit granted!0 -
I think boxospanners has missed the title of this website.
Anyway, how much trade does he get when those who dont know what they are doing make mistakes?Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!
There are three types of people in the world, those who can add up and those who can't.0 -

Do you fix your own car, or take it to a garage to have them fix it? Well, you don't want to be taking money from them now do you?
As said before, you have missed the point of the website, and if your prices weren't so ridiculously high, the need for home maintenance would not exist. Goodbye troll.0 -
