Mooloo's struggle with babies and bills

Think I need to have a bit of a look at flylady stuff, and start to do a bit of a list of things to do. Perhaps if I post it on here, I will do them. I will be embarrassed if I havent.
July is upon us, and I cant believe how fast the year has gone. As my birthday is coming up, I start to think more and more about what I wanted to achieve and what I actually did achieve. Apart from finding a place to live and moving, then going back to work, I dont feel as if I have actaully achieved much. (Actually before I started to write that I was thinking I hadnt achieved anything, so there you go!).
Now I better go to work, the assistant is on her summer holiday so its down to me to organise all of the shop and the stock, and of course the volunteers. Oh and where I am going to send the van this week....eek, I better go.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well today was a little bit more MSE than it has been. In our local green grocers they were doing an offer for Salad £2.00 for an Iceberg lettuce, Cucumber, Red Pepper, bunch spring onions and a packet of cherry tomatoes on the vine. So I bought that. Unfortunately the bread in the breadmachine didnt turn out, and I had to buy my Sandwiches, £1.49. I bought Sugar in Wilkinsons at 75p as tesco its 84p. But then they had run out of sugar at work and i used it for them. So I better remember to get more tomorrow and put in the receipt for it in Petty Cash. I have spent far too much on stuff and not claimed it back lately.
The social services sent another lady to see Twin2 today. She has asked her to do the washing up, and to make a list of jobs, then the other twin is to do it the next day.
How often have I done that? Trillions of times. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well yet another day has dawned. I have been awake since just after 6. I had my teasmade on, so I was able to have a cup of tea before I did anything. Worked better for my joints. Woke DS up for school. Wrote my journal, and then came down to check DS had made his lunch. I asked him had he got his lunch, he said its in his bag, and as I uncovered the uncut loaf of bread he said, oh no it isnt.!!!! Derrr. Why lie.? I am so hurt that he lies all the time, even when its so obvious its a lie. His father was a liar and I had always reitterated to the children that I abhorr lies and that that was one of the major reasons that I finally threw their dad out all those years ago. (1994).I just dont understand why people have to lie and not just say, No, I havent done it yet. Or anything but open themouth and say a lie. I am not nieve and realise that sometimes people feel there is a very important reason to lie, to protect others maybe, or if in danger. But to lie over the simple things in life just goes against my whole grain.!!
I have moved the washing on, put another load on, folded the dry washing ready to be ironed. Printed off the works fire log. Read my horescope (ho0hum). I have even had a piece of toast for my breakfast.
The sun is shining out there and I would have loved to spend some time in the sun, but apart from the walk to the centre where I work and back again I wont see the sun again until just after 5pm. (then I am usually in the kitchen until its too late!!). Ah well 10 days and I have my long weekend to look forward too.
No assistant at work this week, so I am on my own. May just go in a little early as there are things I had wanted to finish yesterday and then didnt. There is no sun in my garden so early so I wont be missing sitting out in it.
Will be leaving a note for the twins to do jobs. Again.....When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I have to rejoyce, even if it is briefly.:j With the help of our staying guest (not paying yet), the twins went into action and they did their bedrooms, and they even sorted out the surface of DS's room!! The hallway, the stairs and even my sittingroom and bedroom got hoovered.! The kitchen was done as well. AMAZING.:T :T I was able to come in from work, and just cook the evening meal. Mind you the shopping from Mr T had not arrived by then so I was concocting again. We had a few spare ribs a few sausages, and so we had them baked in the oven, and then I cooked, rice, pepper, spring onion tops, and a chilli, all in the wok, with a bit of soy sauce and worcestershire!!. Yum. Perhaps I should post that on the grocery challenge. Mr T missed off several items and a few that were swapped where a lot pricier, but it all came in at £104.00 so will update my signature tonights. I have to go to work I am running late. I just wanted everyone to know that I had a big surprise and for once it wasnt. :TWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
