If he is too imature at the moment, then you will need to take the purse strings. He hasnt seen the downside of getting it wrong. I think that you will just have to do like I did with your Dad, and arrange it yourself. At least you get what you want. Sometimes doing things together just causes a lot of tension. Its pretty rare that two people think so alike tht they can do it all together easily.:D
Can you not get his boss to pay his wages into a joint account? Then you can make the financial payments from that without continually nagging him for the cash?
Perhaps he is scared of facing the reality of a home. Lets face it he just wants to live in Towcester and he doesnt care how it will be done. He is not interested in how its done. Just the end result.:rolleyes:When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Thats great news. Lets just hope you get the house now or G & G will be over crowded.!!
A bunch of flowers is always a good thing to have.
Feels strange talking to you on here. Nice though. Dont get enough contact normally.
Whats the others doing tonight then? BF is coming over here, although we already have a house full in the other sitting room. Twins have friend over from School (roade), some fella. Then we have houseguest and her new fella here too. Good job that I have the second sitting room. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

i remember when they went away years ago, and you and I painted the kitchen for them. Granny was in on it, but Grandad wasnt. It needs doing again now it was so long ago.
It will be nice for them to come home to a spick and span clean house. Perhaps thats a way of you earning a bit more dosh? Cleaning for private homes?? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Think I need to save some dosh for Portugal, as the maintenance fee has just about trebled over the last couple of years. So I want to see if there are things I can do to save/up my income. Although I just dont have the abilities to make huge amounts if I have to do too many physical jobs. So taking on another job after work is no longer viable for me.?
Think we might have to as then we can do it together - work 12hrs at outside bar on sat for Landlord of TPA's £75 - Straight in the savings pot (that no one knows about yet:rotfl: my little secret hehe)Newbie! :j (ish)

Still looking at what to do for the 3 days after our apartment is finished, as BF booked a flight on the following Wednesday. We are looking at another All INCLUSIVE...
