I am expecting my DBF a bit later today, so I am hoping that the heat pads will have done thier bit and I can move again without looking like an old hag.
Better try to make space in the house so that he can get in. Was contemplating going over there instead becuase the twins have friends over, but I am not sure the drive will be very helpful to me.?
I am back at work in the morning. I hope that I have a few volunteers to help me. Friday is always a slow day for volunteers. Most of them are retired so they like to go off for long weekends and of course lots of holidays.

The problem will be if he doesnt care about money he will not appreciate it, and debts are all too easy to build up. Do you think his family or I should talk to him about the seriousness of sorting out the finances when you start living together?

Do you want to have a go at some of the Money saving/earning challenges on here? I do the grocery saving one, but I am sure that I could put my mind to earning a bit of money extra if I have the insentive to do it.

I think that you will find all men are imature, no matter what the age!! (Well maybe grandad.....Na hes as daft as a brush at times too.!!!).
If its something that BF is just not going to do anything about its one of those niggles that you have to choose to deal with and not let it niggle, or it will be the downfall later on in life. Thats why my BF and I have basically chosen to agree to disagree over DS and his antics, and I choose to hold my breath that his DS1 is ever going to act his age.!!

  • Its not the savig side of it, its just the whole want to do it together - dont want to do it all on m own .... At least if i do it my way im not going to get it wrong.... and if he dosent understand then he will have no coice but to sit down and listen to me .....

Think I need to save some dosh for Portugal, as the maintenance fee has just about trebled over the last couple of years. So I want to see if there are things I can do to save/up my income. Although I just dont have the abilities to make huge amounts if I have to do too many physical jobs. So taking on another job after work is no longer viable for me.?
