That's two of us starting on the same day with the same total...

..any more PMS virgins care to join us? :D

Yup, never actually done the challenge, but will be coupon hunting tonight, ready for tomorrow's shopping extravaganza.

I also found an assortment of 1 and 2p's today, that my flatmates left behind when they moved out, so my starting total is about 12pence. Excellent!

  • Add my name to the list - I'll start making a note of my savings rather than just having them absorbed, can I count my home grown stuff as money saved? (after factoring the cost of seeds etc)

I'll join in too on Friday, I'll have to use the old pen and paper too until I learn how to do a spreadsheet!

Is there a limit on the amount Asda will take in coupons? I'm sure last time I used them the checkout girl said the coupons couldn't be more than a third of the total bill.

Hiya, or should that be "Hello and welcome #8"? :)

I saw in a recent thread somwhere that Asda generally accept up to ten percent of the bill. Not all their staff seem to know this, or care, because I recently used £3.50's worth of coupons on a five pounds and something shop.

You could try the OnLine and Offline Vouchers board for a definitive answer.

I'm in again this month, but not a PMS virgin! And I'm upping my Target for Actual PMS to £75. Better go and work on the strategy!

As our vacuum cleaner has finally died on us this week, so i think i ought to join the PMS this month. Need to save £165.97 for a new dyson. (although can get it from ASDA for £165, my store takes 1/3 of bill in coupons so i reckon i could get it for about £100 cash plus coupons - so maybe my target is £100?)

Go easy on me tho' guys, I'm another PMS virgin :o
