With a weekly shopping budget of £50, and this week's bill at £43.36, my pin money savings were boosted by £6.64. Because I'm not using real money yet, all of my savings are virtual. But I am using the debit card these days.spendy/she/her ***DEBT-FREE DATE: 11 NOVEMBER 2022!*** Highest debt: £35k (2006) MY WINS: £3,541 CASH; £149 Specsavers voucher; free eye test; goody bag from Scottish Book Trust; tickets to Grand Designs Live; 2-year access to Feel Amazing App (worth £100); Home Improvement & Renovation Show tickets; £50 to spend on chocolate; Harlem Globetrotters tickets; Jesus Christ Superstar tickets + 2 t-shirts; Guardians of the Galaxy goody bag; Birmingham City v Barnsley FC tickets; Marillion tickets; Dancing on Ice tickets; Barnsley FC v Millwall tickets0

This week, Mum very kindly bought a paddling pool for dd :as I had already earmarked £5 for this, can add it to my PIN money. Watch the weather turn completely! Also gave 2 x 25p birthday cards, so a small saving there as well - 50p.
vPMS: cashed in £9.75s worth of boots points + saved another £3.50 on top because 2 items were on bogof. Copounage this week amounted to £2.75, plus £1.50 misc.
So, vPMS = £21.50.

Hello All
PIN received a boost tonight. Although yet to work out by how much. I did an online order with Tesc*.
£10 E coupon
£8.07 in BOGOF
£1.00 Reduced item.
Also order 10 packets of Andrx quilted toilet rolls which are half price on internet orders (84p).
I got 3 andrex and 7 quilted kleenex rolls substituted.
The andrx didn't come up half price on he bill so I telephoned tesc* and the nice man on the phone said that I could have all the loo rolls at 84p.
I realised afterwards that the kleenex all had £1.00 off coupons on them as well so tesc* actually paid me 16p for each packet I bought!!
Shopping came to £26.30 instead of £53. with £7.00 of coupons still to use
I'm only counting coupons as PIN money so I think it's another £10 in the pot :T :T0 -
My PMS are a bit pants. Only got £5.18p which was £4.00 from vouchers I got from doing a survey and £1.18 on multi-buy. As I'm going to go over my grocery budget this month it's going to eat my PMS anyway. Oh well it will soon be another month and I'll have another go.

Maybe you should set next month's target at, say, a tenner under whatever this month's total outlay turns out to be. Then another tenner the month after that. Make it easy and painless.
It's not a race and nor is it a competition - the challenge is largely to challenge your self, not anyone else.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Oh yeah I know Squeaky. I'm competitive with myself
. I need PMS and to lower my grocery costs as I need to fund a business and have no capital.
Got to clear my overdraft off first too. Oh well.

Well you know you're on the right forum for that and, to be fair, you can go at whatever pace you like... but it can get very wearing if you tighten your belt very hard and don't allow yourself anything much in the way of treats etc. If it gets too wearing you can end up calling it a day and not doing it any more - which is why people often suggest that if you don't have to be dead mean with yourself - don't.
And doing the change in small steps really is easier, honestHi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there.
