nicki - how is the ebay listing going? been busy with this myselfThe best bargains are priceless!!!!!!!!!! :T :T :T0

In the last 31 days I've sold 24 itmes and made £50.56
I've still got stuff to list and the stuff that hasn't sold is going to be listed in job lots instead of individually to save on listing costs
Whatever doesn't sell will be going to the charity shop by the end of the month as OH is off for 2 weeks starting 22nd so he'll be able to help me get it all there. I think the money I've earnt will be put towards buying a shelving unit for the bedroom as we have a distinct lack of storage for boxes of long term stuff, like Xmas decorations. Ooo, that reminds me, I need to get my advert/webpage sorted for the pram, cot, and other assorted baby goods sorted.

Don't forget to advertise some of the things in the free ads section of specialist sites as things oftem sell quick this way too. ie. https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk for camping and caravaning gear. Also your local clinic/playgroup for cots and other baby items. this is what works for me but it depends on what class of trash you are trying to sell! lolThe best bargains are priceless!!!!!!!!!! :T :T :T0

Oh dear, hear we are only on the 11th and I have completely lost the plot.
Pin money was at £13.60 and all was going well. Have made some cracking savings in Boots, what with multi-buys, vouchers, advantage points etc. (approx £18 + 2260 advantage points now) but have lost receipt, now can't find book I was jotting all spending in (9 year old daughter finds notebooks irresistable).
Just have jumble of receipts including one from Co-Op for £7.26 total but would have been £10.26 without multi-save and offers plus I paid with Dividend vouchers of £7 which I got re-issued as they had been sent to 2 year old wrong address. The good thing is I wouldn't have made that phone call without this challenge. :j
Savings at Somerfield £2.72 and Costcutter £4.26 plus savings by shopping at Aldi, Healthy Weigh, Heron and local greengrocers that I wouldn't have made either. However, my brain just can't compute, I blame the impending move. So, I think I'm going to continue the rest of July in the spirit of the challenge and start again with better record keeping in August.
Partial PMS for July £48.58 + advantage points. So thanks very much for the inspiration and catch up with you next month.Proud to have dealt with our debt. DFW Nerd 1474

My finances have completely gone to pot this month as well. I'm blaming having to pay for the ebay postage out of the housekeeping. I've been shopping at the local shops which don't give you receipts so I'm blaming holiday-itis (It's nearly the holidays and I'm trying to come up with ways of entertaining a 4 year old for 7 weeks when her Dad has only got the first two weeks off  ) as my mind just isn't functioning properly. Infact it's gone blank numerous times just typing this post out. By my calculations I have £15 (plus ebay postage reinbursements once my paypal transfer has cleared of about £10) to last me until 28th  I suppose if I got desperate I could dip into my PIN but I really don't want to unless we are completely skint. Mind you, I'm having to buy 2 pints of milk at a time instead of the usual 6pts as it keeps going off otherwise. :mad:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

Pin money update (before I lose the scrap of paper it's written on!)
£47.93 back from water
£2 BOGOF from boots
£35 new water payments gave me a free month!!!
___
£84.93 Total
I am verrrry pleased with the total (which is now in a savings account) but it's not going as well as I'd hoped - if it wasn't for the water over payments my total so far this month would only be £2!
I spent way too much money on the shopping last week so I haven't gone over the reciepts to see if I made any savings (doesn't seem right as I spent about 3 times the amount I normally would )
I'm trying not to shop this week in an effort to make up for last week!0 -
Not sure of the totals yet as I have just started a spreadsheet with 3 columns one for me, one for my husband and a household one.
With totals along the bottom as well as grand total of all 3.
But this month has been good.
Both me and my husband have got our £10 cheques from muller rice so £20. I got a cheque from mutual points for £20 has taken me for ever to get though. LOL!!!!!.
£26 in amazon vouchers so I have bought a printer that will cost £9.66 only a cheap one but better than nothing.
Husband won a bet £11 but took the stake money and put on another bet and lost that. Never mind.
I got 200 extra points from boots and then there is all the savings from them. Need to double check but I am being right lazy at the moment.
So not taking out for the printer and the orignal stake money the above comes to £79 so far for this month.
It will be more as I need to included the savings I made in boots. And savings made on BOGOF's and using vouchers why shopping.
Shame every month can't be the same.
Yours
CalleyHope for everything and expect nothing!!!

Nice Man from Tescos.com drove all the way to my house to deliver groceries today - very sweet of him especially when I used £10 off £50 shop coupon and it's only £3.99 delivery today so freezer now stocked up with very frozen choc ices (on BOGOF of course) and no mad dash home before they melted! And because it's from a different tescos than my local I got v. nice reduced wine. 4 pack of beer came in at a 3 for 4 onpack promotion which was a v. nice suprise and internet offer on andrex toilet roll to boot.
In all £52.26 of goods delivered to the door for £40.23 - Life is good!0
