Just totted my savings up so far and was pleasantly surprised:
money-off vouchers = £2.48
reduced and multi-buy reductions = £2.83
money off shopping using luncheon vouchers £4
Grand total = £9.31
I've had the luncheon vouchers for a while, got them for doing a survey at Pinecone so I used them at Sainsbury's this week! Great thing was when I got home from shopping there was an email from them for another survey!Dum Spiro Spero0 -
aPMS: Mystery Shopping Income £12.60 + 2.30p in savings in car parking fees
So, July aPMS stands at: £14.90.
vPMS: £14.62 (LVs, bogofs, coupons).
anguk: it's great watching it mount up, isn't it!
Well done for a great start to the month all you PMSers out there! :T0 -
It's a good job I use the calculator on my phone when I'm shopping - I nearly lost some PMS!
I bought a pack of kitchen rolls on BOGOF at £1.69 and thought wahay - £1.69 PMS and then I thought nah... I wouldn't have bought those ones except for the fact that there were on offer I'd have bought a different pack and two would have cost £2.50 so that made my real saving (to my mind) 81p which still ain't bad
Then I bought a pack of six soaps for the price for four - cost £1.99 PMS £1.00
When I finished at the checkout their total didn't agree with the one on my calculator (WHICH I NEVER WOULD HAVE REALISED BEFORE) by the BOGOF amount. Soon got that one changed 'cor blimey yes indeed
Plus, since I was shopping in the Co-op I got 21p towards my dividend (which I shall be earning interest on too!) AND since I'm saving the stamps for the pyrex dishes the lass gave me a couple extra so I got a free 2/5ths of three quid off my next dish - a nice big flan dish - so the extra stamps are worth £1.20 and my shopping one another 60p
So the whole shop was £6.71 and the PMS it earned me was £3.61

My PMS received a mini-boost today, mostly when my shopping order arrived. I saved £10 in coupons, which more than made up for the £5.99 delivery charge, and I saved £1.33 in BOGOFFs and special offers. Because I'm using £50 as my weekly budget, anything below that is a saving. But because I'm still not using real cash, although I am using the debit card now instead of the credit card, all pin money savings are virtual. Today's vPMS = £10.52.spendy/she/her ***DEBT-FREE DATE: 11 NOVEMBER 2022!*** Highest debt: £35k (2006) MY WINS: £3,541 CASH; £149 Specsavers voucher; free eye test; goody bag from Scottish Book Trust; tickets to Grand Designs Live; 2-year access to Feel Amazing App (worth £100); Home Improvement & Renovation Show tickets; £50 to spend on chocolate; Harlem Globetrotters tickets; Jesus Christ Superstar tickets + 2 t-shirts; Guardians of the Galaxy goody bag; Birmingham City v Barnsley FC tickets; Marillion tickets; Dancing on Ice tickets; Barnsley FC v Millwall tickets0

Another Saturday, another trip to Asda.
This week however, I have started shopping for a friend who lets me keep any savings I make with coupons/vouchers as payment for my efforts. So this week I made £9.38 in Pin, but, sadly there were loads of cakes on "whoops" and I just couldn't resist, which meant I blew the budget a bit - £45.19, oopsie!"And crawling on the planet's face,
