  • Morning Guys!

Having a really rough day today. Warfarin withdrawal isnt nice and its raining too, so all joints/bones hurting.

    PP
    xx

Why weren't they monitering your warfarin weekly PP? Like I said yesterday, it's standard practice for the community nurse to do it and it looks like appalling neglect to me.
  • Morning! It's pouring here too, horrible :( Have one load of towels in the WM already, will have to use the tumble drier though.

I'm another one who doesn't sleep; in my case it's a hormonal reason, I'm currently waking every two hours drenched in sweat. Not nice. Who'd be a woman, eh?

I've just treated myself to a cooked breakfast as I had a couple of bacon rashers left over in the fridge; yummy. Have leftover pasta salad and lamb tagine for lunch, a bit of an odd combination but OH eats such big portions, there's not enough for him to help me out. Have just discovered that he yet again failed to put the DW on last night so I've run out of mugs and plates now until that's done

Have a great day everyone. Congrats to the Nixes! and Hilstep, I hope your mum is on the mend. Hugs to all those still unwell.

Hi everyone  and good morning to all

Been a slow start to the day for me - up late due to way too much caffiene - didn't realise I'd actually drunk the whole bottle of diet coke on my desk yesterday plus all the coffee I normally drink. Got to sleep about 3am, woke up at 8.30 am, got to work later than normal but not to matter really, I only have a few fiddly bits to do before tommorrow. I'm in tomorrow morning because I'm invigilating an exam, so I can do some stuff before I have to start the students off. A lovely lady at the bus stop let me share her umbrella as we were waiting, so I didn't get wet. I think that was really sweet and amazing how meeting nice people in the morning can make the day good from the beginning.

Hester, Jeremy Clarkson!?? Now if it had been either of the other two top gear presenters.... *needs to stop this train of thought right now*
Amie, my Gran is like that too - she's out more than me and never shattered! It's great!
Penny-pincher, I hope the day gets better for you ((hugs))

Still, ought to go and look busy.... cel x

    Morning everyone

Another day off wo*k for me - I am feeling v.grotty this morning so will be staying inside with the heating on even if it does cost an arm and a leg. It's v.v.frosty outside which is so pretty but I am glad to not be going out in it.

r.mac - fantastic to see you back. Many congratulations on getting hitched - I remember you mentioning some time ago that you had met someone special, I'm glad it has worked out so well for you.

On the subject of racy dreams with celebs I had an horrific one starring Barry Manilow - unfortunately I didn't wake up before the "good" bit. I will bear the mental scars for many years I think:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm off to read some more of my book, bye for now.

    Morning Everyone

DH has got man-flu and is currently in bed. Mad cat is desperate to go out but I'm not confident that he would come back at the moment.

The house needs a good clean today and I have a pile of ironing to do and I had planned to change our bed but I will have to get the dying man out of it first so that may have to be postponed.

    Have a good day everyone

Morning all............((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))) if you need one.

Nasty grey morning, OH wanted to go out for a walk but its raining, so forget it, I am not getting soaked for anyone!!!!!

Bad night last night. OH kept me awake sniffing and complaining he couldn't breathe, told him to put some olbas oil on his hankie and shut up!!! I went through to the kitchen to make a drink and when I came back he had put the light out, leaving me in total darkness..........selfish B****r and whats more he was fast asleep!!!!! I was very cross............nearly woke him up to tell him off, then decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Concequently I feel like a wrung out diah rag this morning...........hey ho.............

Want to do some sewing, have a couple more inserts I want to get done, waiting for some cards to come, ordered them over the internet on Tuesday night. I was getting cross looking for a design when I realised I was actually looking at the damn thing!!!!!!!!!!! it was on the CF card all the time, looked different because I had sewn it out in different colours....ooooppppppsssss.

HN fish and chips tonight, I have overspent on my food budget, so not very happy. OH keeps guiding me into the cheapie counter at Tesco when we go to the library, its got to stop.

Right off foe a cuppa and the loo, in reverse order..........cheers........

Amended.......no sewing forgot its the exercise class this afternoon.

For those of you who are ebay sellers, I have just used a company called Interpost, they collected on time, and I just checked the tracking, and although I paid for 48hr delivery its on the van for delivery today!!!!! It was cheaper that the company I used before, I paid for 24 hour delivery with them it took 3 days to get to its destination......twice they did not pick up when they said they would.............so guess who I will be using in future????!!!

    Morning everyone:wave:
Hilstep - it is hard when you see a parent suddenly look old but don't forget that people are worn out after ops so i do hope that she feels a bit better very soon. ((((hugs)))) to you though as i do understand.
Sorry to hear of all the nightmares and bad sleep folks. I'm another who doesn't get enough sleep due to Snory McRory husband (whose name isn't Rorylaughing-smiley-014.gif) and i'm a light sleeper which doesn't help. I had one good sleep this week - the best in weeks and it made me realise how good you feel after a decent sleep. OH leaves for 3 weeks on Sat (work) and i know I'll moan about him being away although i won't miss the snoring.
Plans for today - fill the charity bag for collection tomorrow. I have one book looked out so far! Flylady gave us a superfling boogie last week i think and |I've kept it in my emails as I haven't done it yet. So.....charity and chucking today.
Hope everyone has a good day

Gee can I have some of what you've taken. :D All these dirty dreams and I'm off to bed soon. I've never heard of any of who you're talking about except for Barry Manilow - and you can have him all to yourself Snowy. ;)

Just got out the shower, hopped out, dried myself, put deodrant & powder on. Dressed myself, brushed my teeth and was about to clean my face when I saw I had forgotten to rinse the conditioner out of my hair. :D So had to go through all the process again.

r.mac Glad to see you back & belated congratulations.
Haribo Enjoy your [STRIKE]dirty[/STRIKE] decorating weekend. :D

Might do a Snowy shortly and chill in front of the box :D and knit. I"m my 4th dishcloth now. Mine's not as nice as whatawit's though. :p I'm going to do that pattern next. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    MORNING ALL
arrggg sorry baby's been at the laptop again!
well, today i have to sort out the mess DH made yesterday. in the afternoon i developed a migraine so went back to bed, leaving DH to sort out the new morgage. BIG mistake, the muppet took out a 25 year morgage coz it was cheaper, we've already paid off 6 years of our current one and we were just moving it to a cheaper rate. so today i have to ring them and change it to a 20 year one instead, i also have to chase a refund from next as they messed up my sale order.
work later then off for a week and a half! yeah, it's my birthday tomorrow, so having a very relaxing day i hope.
    hugs to all
p.s. i had a very rude dream last night about gary barlow.......very strange as i always fancied mark owen!
