Lol, I'm old enough to be Richard Hammonds mother, lol, but I could have understood if I dreamt about him as I've just read his book, 'On the Edge' I'm blaming it on the cheese sandwiches I had for lunch, or the stress of living with my lodger.
I forgot to congratulate NIX yesterday.
Hugs Hester

Forgot to say that I met my friend yesterday for lunch, and I have turned her into a fully fledged MSEr - she has changed her utility supplier, registered with Quidco, and sent me an email to say she has claimed cash back from Amazon :T
I've told her to be careful, this site is really addictiveYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning all who have posted so far.
Another bad sleeper here. For the last couple of nights I've been waking up coughing about an hour after I've finally drifted off; I don't want to disturb DH so, if I can't stop coughing, I have to get up and read the paper for half an hour. Then I go back to bed and worry about over-sleeping! Anyway, I was up again at about 3.30 entering competitions! This never happens to DH. Why are men able to just conk out for the duration?
HESTER - Jeremy Clarkson! Years ago I had a very X-rated dream about David Cassidy. I didn't even like him or his voice!
PAM - I do hope you start feeling better soon. (((Hugs))) to you.
I didn't get time to read the rest of yesterday's thread so will try and catch up with it later.
DH has given me a list of things to do, mainly chasing up invoices that he hasn't been paid for yet. We should have had two payments in yesterday but they weren't in the bank when I checked.
Well, I must go and put the BM on then have a shower.
It's pouring with rain here and I can hear a hyperactive song-thrush singing it's heart out. Apparently, they love the rain but they are so loud it starts to get on your nerves! He's right outside my kitchen window. He seems to have a built-in MP3 player because the repertoire of songs is amazing! I think he must have downloaded about 100.
Well, better go - I wanted to do my food shopping early this morning but I have get through the list of work-related stuff that DH left and that will probably take a couple of hours. I do hate making phone calls these days because people either don't answer, put you on hold after you've been through loads of options or don't phone you back when you leave a message.
Anyway, off to get something done.
Hope everyone has a great day, despite the rain.

DD is off to school and is bringing a friend home for tea and a sleepover, going into Chichester tomorrow for browsing and the charity shops, might have some lunch out, have got to get my eyes tested.
Got burger and chips tonight, DD's friend will not eat anything spicy or unusual , did fahitas last time she came, and she would not eat them, she ended up with beans and cheese in a wrap  , god knows what her mother thunks of me.
Well have a good day all

Good Morning Everyone
Its Friday :j :j
Been finding it hard getting up early this week, not because of dreaming - I hardly ever remember my dreams.
Wet and miserable here today but I cant complain too much, Orlando was 80 yesterday and less than 2 weeks to go. (I know ...... i'll shut up now).
Off to another village straight from school this morning for a couple of errands then home & in my office - need to force myself to get a horrible filing job done.
No need to cook tea tonight - we are dropping our dog off at inlaws who are going to look after him whilst we are on holiday and they are having him for the weekend for a test run. MIL is not cooking for us luckily but we are sharing an indian takeaway with fil who is only allowed them if someone else wants one.
Anyway, best be off.
Have a great day.

Morning All
Well, I've taken the first step in changing my life and applied for a new job. I sent the email this morning. As today's the closing date, hopefully it shouldn't be too long until I here. I would be a great job with fantastic pay should I get it. Fingers crossed.
Decided I shall avoid conversation with all those making my working life a misery today.
Must visit my sister on the way home so she can return a library book. She's also ordered Martin's new book for me, along with another that's on sale.
Still got to do my daily clicks. Had one survey through this morning, but it wouldn't open, so I deleted it. Couldn't be bothered faffing around for 51p.
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Morning all
HESTER oooherrr;) !
Mrs Mix you seem to have been ill for ages, hope you feel better soon.
Hugs to anyone else who needs it, haven't managed to catch up with the thread from yesterday.
AMIE happy birthday to your Nan for yesterday, she sounds like a fab old bird.
I went out with the girls last night for our belated Xmas and my birthday celebrations from last November! They can all drink me under the table and I feel rough, it was good though:p .
Off to have a large drink of water, it's tipping it down here, so will pull out our waterproofs to go to school. I never drive as it is a 6 minute walk. Looked around junior school yesterday, am so impressed and really hope he gets in there, it's just behind where he goes already and the level of support is amazing. We are so lucky that for such a deprived area, we have two fantastic schools.
Today I intend to get the house straight for the weekend. Am trying to de-clutter one thing at a time, so far it's going well. Dinner will probably be HM pizza.
Catch you later :A xxxxx0 -
Morning All
((HUGS)) to the unwells/unwell los/fed ups/lonelies/or putting up with unwell/inconsidderate OH's! - think that is most of us covered.
I fall into a DH with "man flu!". Do I need to say any more! - if he gives it to me he's dead.
Woke up a little later today as was woken up in the middle of the night by DH sighing/moaning but hadn't taken anything(why!) a little prompt soon fixed that. Left him with snoring volume rattling the bedroom walls. Sympathy is not my style.
Plans for the day - unknown until we still how DH is, we should be going out tonight. Also the friends DH both of whom is here with us, is having tooth problems, broke it last week, had it filled but still giving him gyp. Went back again yesterday and they tried re-sealing it again, said it is either a crown or an extraction next. He hopefully does not want to lose it. May need to try another dentist to see if they can so a crown quickly?? The dentist he saw said he needs 3. Probably cheaper out here anyway. She was unhappy about the grey fillings which are standard in the UK, as she said they swelled as they got old??
Enough driffel from me.
Take care all

Morning all, persisting it down here and DH car still in the garage and so he's taken mine so looks like the boys and i are going to get soaked on the way to school this am. Got soaked on the way back yesterday as well:mad: Just my luck that I have no car when its raining like this. Hopefully car will be fixed today and will be able to pick it up before school knock off time.
When I get back from the school run and have dried out, am planning on cleaning and tidying and maybe even getting some stuff on ebay to help counteract the car cost. Hugs to all who need them:A .
