    Hello everyone

I used to post on the daily thread (big waves to those I recognise and to those i don't) and hope you don't mind me re-joining in! Oh and I am a Mrs now too!

Today is a busy day as while I have Fridays off I tend to end up doing all the little jobs that build up. Today includes some batch cooking, collecting car from MOT and decluttering in preparation for our house move at the end of the month!

weather isn't great so would prefer to stay inside - oh well :D Really enjoying getting stuck back into the OS board as well as catching up with all your news. I can't believe that Lillibet is a tv star now!

Hope everyone else has a great day.

    Morning :D

I've just spied an OSer on Archerfish :hello: :D

I'm buying a sewing machine today, I really want one that does everything - embroidery, etc. but I have to buy it in Argos with vouchers (£80 worth) and I only have £20 in real money to put towards it. So a plain ordinary boring one it is, then :D

Mr tru's day off today, so we're stopping at the office to pick up the post, going shopping - farm shop and Morrison's - then we're spending the afternoon in the garden. I want to do it all myself but the garden has been his thing for so long, I spose it's only fair to let him out there too :rotfl:

    Morning All!
Had a rotten night too. Woke at 0.57 and didn't get back till 2.36 (Last time I looked at the clock) and then woke with a headache:eek: GRRR!
Mum had her op, although hey had to hold her down, poor love. Went to see her last night, she was a bit sore, but is coming home this morning. The district nurses are coming in on Monday to start the feeding programme. She just looks so frail and old all of a sudden, and my Mum's never been old:(

DS is asleep, got to take him to get new trainers today. He's worn his out from the inside:eek: He does walk for miles though, so I'm not surprised. Don't fancy going out in all this rain though!

OH will be here later, haven't seen him for a week. DD has booked the hall for her engagement party now, I've got the job of doing the food!:T

    Lasagne for dinner I think.

Enjoy the day if you can!

    Morning all

Was pleased when the alarm went off this morning, had one of those nights where you have a really bad dream, wake yourself up and then go straight back into the dream........ Never happens with the nice ones! The dream has really thrown me and I want to phone the person concerned to make sure they're ok but don't want to explain what happened to them in the dream......I shall just have to get my head round it.

Tipping down and blowing a gale here - DD2 got up and dressed for school but burst into tears as she's still not feeling well - she's gone back to bed, I just want her better.

Managed to get DH onto facebook last night - despite all his protests he was actually looking through my friends going --- "who's that then" Once I'd said all your OS names he knew who was who and was quite happy! :D (Just shows he listens more than I think)

Tuna fishcakes and chips for DD's and I tonight - DH will have lasagne as he's allergic to seafood.......must remember to get some bread crumbs made.

DW and WM just finished so off to sort them and make a huge pot of tea - going to have a morning of comping/surfing/trying to work out matched betting.

    Have a good day all.

  • Morning all. Slept not very well last night, too. I'll blame the MSE OS unconscious from you lot.

haven't heard from anyone at work.

Got leftovers for lunch + dinner today.

    again, nothing different, happening here.
  • Morning everyone :hello:

Welcome bck r.mac and congratulations. :hello:

Just about to leave for work. I'm absolutely shattered and want a relaxing weekend but the girls are going to their grandparents so we can paint the bedrooms in peace. We have split then up now and given one of them the spare room but the one that is left in the old room now has the biggest room in the house so we're reclaiming that. Means getting rid of lots of pink paint though. :D

Celeriac and potato soup tonight with hm rolls.

    Have a good day everyone.

Pooky thanks for the tip y-day ref the late payment charge and mentioning this site! I think I will give it a go, as one particular company charges me £12 every month, despite me telling them when my pay day is!
dlb - hows the non-smkoing going!

Not much to gossip to about Im afraid, still the same, all work and no play. Ive not heard anything back about those courses I signed up to, they start next Tues & Weds. One was a councelling/ listening skills, and the other is Street Wise, keep fit using kick boxing! I shall have to ring them today. And best thing is, they both last for 10 weeks and are totally free!

My Manager leaves today to start her maternity leave!

Off to Cheshire tomorrow to fetch that Greeting card stand I won on ebay. Other than that, it will be the usual house work & bedding change & shopping over the wk end.
    Have a good day
