Oooooh, I have some news. I amgoing to be a mummy........

    Kind of.........

My fish has laid some eggs this afternoon. I have taken the weed out that they are on, I noticed they were acting a bit odd, we took them from the pond and they seem to have gone into 'season' an today I came home and the eggs were there (what they had not eaten anyway!!). So I might have something else to focus my attention on for a week - which I am sure is going to be he slowest week EVER!!

I know taxi - I am speaking to hubby when he gets hom, there are still 4 more to choose from but we need to go have a drive around, maybe on tuesday when the kids are at school so I do not have them yelling from the back seat. I'll park the car and go have a drive around. I have until Wednesday so it isnot like it has to be done today. Have a lovely time wherever you are going. I keep forgetting that it is Bank holiday!! Thanks also Triker. x

Well done for staying so positive BM- when we were waiting to find out if we were destined for the hostel or not i was so stressed that i lost a lot of my hair. 2 bald patches is not a good look!! Still its nearly back to an unnoticable length, haha.

Fingers extra crossed for extra points xx

Morning everyone, welcome to the longest week of my life - EVER!! The points are being discussed and reonsidered this afternoon - there might be another family in more need than us so if so then they will get first choice. I am happy to know someone is trying to put our case forward though. 12 people have 'expressed an interest' in it now though. Kind of jittery and not sleeping at all. I was up at 5am this morning doing some ironing!!

I have a list as long as my arm of stuff to get done, loads of stuff ending on eBay over thenext few days to bring some money in.

Plus... my son got awarded DLA. My husband came in on Saturday and said there is a letter from the DLA People and my first thought was that I have not got the energy right now to fight an appeal - but he got it. Plus it has come as a lump sum so we are selling the kids play equipment that we have here now to end the weekend before we have to leave by and are buying a big wooden one with climbing wall and the like for them.

So, everything seems to be coming together for us, I've applied for carers and also going to apply for a grant from the family fund for some things for the house for when we move in. I've spent the weekend doing books, books and more books, but the SA is in and I now have to call Tax Credits and get tat amended. Still, keeps me busy while we wait.....

Hope everyone else is keeping well. Ooh, I sold my market stall (I think I said that0 so my snake has a new tank for when we go as he will be sent to my friends if we are in a hostel and there was no room for his big one there. It's been a funny and exhausting weekend trying to get as much as we can in order!!

The fishy babies are due to hatch any time now, it is so nice to have something to focus on other than this and my husband and I have probably become a bit obsessive about it now as it is all we talk and google about!!LOL!!

    Drums fingers.........

    Longest week EVER.......

Properties on the lettings list are currently being 'shortlisted'. For goodness sake!!

Just getting everything else in order for going now and have to cancel DD and the like. Ryan just broke one of the chairs on the dining room suite and have never done a claim before so thought 'why not' but they have told me they will replace the chair and I'll have to buy the rest of the suite!!! They are coming out but I thought 'sod that' I might as well get one from Freecycle!! They are booked now so will see what they say when they come out. The kids have trashed it anyway so maybe they tell them bank that is damaged too and will cover it, LOL!!

I so hope I get some information soon about where we are on that list for the damn house, 15 people in total have applied for it and I keep on checking online to see if there is any update yet. There is not. I can't eat prperly and am exhausted as Icannot sleep properly. And it seems we DID NOT get those extra points as they are not showing online on our total and the woman said if we got them then that would be updated :(

And we have lots of fishy babies!! Hurrah!!

On a more positive note, I have told the children that we have to leave the house very soon and that if we still do not have anywhere to live thenwe will have to go to a plae like a big hotel and they can take their cases with some clothes in (they are so excited about this!!). I have said there might be lots of other children and mummies they can play with too. So I am treating it like a holiday for them and trying to make it fn, fun, fun. I have told them that I am selling their garden things because when we get a new house we will be able to buy a big new one for them to use.

So fingers crossed, everyone i happy with how things are going. I know we will have to deal with Ryan adapting to our routine changes such as not being able to scooter to school and not having run of the bathroom. He has started wetting himself and I had to put him back in trainer pants when we go out but I am not sure if this related to this or something else. We shall see I guess, only time will tell but we are all ready for this.

Oh and mum has said I can leave the cats here and she will keep the cat medication in her fridge and sort the cats on a day to day basis if weneed her too as well. That is something that has set my mind at rest anyway.

Hope everyone else is doing fine. I am just lkilling time by listing everything that moves, LOL!! Made a bit of money on eBay so far!!

blue monkey - just calling by to salute you, yet again, and your bouncebackabilty.
But you must eat properly - eventually one of you will tell me to stop being Madame Bossy and treating you(and mot and others)to the homily line that seems often to be my stock-in-trade.
Your night's rest may not seem of sufficient quality to replenish your energy levels, but you will recuperate....enough, anyway, to make sure you challenge the non-appearance of those extra points that you were assured.
Will you make a point of hitting that one first thing tomorrow bm?

    Hi A,

Pretty much neither here nor there about the points right now to be honest, the list is closed and by he time the next list will comes out and we will be in the hostel so we will have the points then anyway. Just will be p!ssed off because had we gone to the hostel on 16th April then we would have got this lovely house now. Still, something better WILL be around the corner if this does not happen. Everything for a reason, you know me.

I think that this week has been the worst week in all honesty, just the not knowing where we are on the list, it gets to breakfast, lunch and dinner time but I just have this nauseous feeling all the time I cannot shake off - and of course, when I do feel like eating it is just all the wrong things. We are running the freezer right down to nothing now, I think there will be just veg left and I will leave the pasta in the cupboard to eat last. my finger is on the 'refresh' button for ost of the day. I am hoping that they mark our 'rank' on the feedback page once they have collated the properties ad shortlisted them. In the end we decided to go for the one property - on the basis that if others were *desperate* they would be going for as many as possible and because we had made 1 choice, the others would get picked for the other properties as their first choice leaving us to have this one as first choice as we had only picked one..... Oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained and all that. We are ready for the hostel and then we will get the points that way. However..... this matter is far from dropped believe me....

I get tired whn getting the kids into bed and I am almost asleep when reading them their bedtime stories!!
