Hi blue,
I don't face a quarter of your adversity, or have one tenth of your character. You are truly amazing! Stay sane, we're all thinking of you. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Morning all,
Thanks for your note Viv, it is proably called denial, LOL!!
No news really, had a step back with Ryans medical stuff as CAMHS won't see him but they are the ones that are supposed to check his ASD and behaviour - but they seem to have him down for behaviour. So back to the docs to start all over again now, apparently they won't see him for his behaviour problems until he is 10 - yet doc diagnosed behaviour as he was too young for the ADHD diagnosis and she wanted to try behaviour therapy - but he is too young for the behaviour therapy unless he has ADHD diagnosis. Are you as confused as I am now?????
My reason for posting was to show you all this website:
Wait for the lady to appear, put your firstname in the first bar, surname in the 2nd bar, no need for email and then press visualise.

PS. Put 'Kiss This' in the 2nd bar!!0 -
Any luck finding the details of you'r local hostel BM?
I've been looking for those T & C's for you but haven't found them so far- have got some old paperwork at OH's mums so will check there when we visit on friday!
xxx
No Hol, I've not been able to find anything. I have called the HA but the council look after it so I'll ask when I get my bailiffs date. The councillor who used to be involved in HA told me that they are 'very accomodating' and make sure that your needs are met while in there. So fingers crossed that it will be fine. i just want to have a TV and access to CBeebies with a Freeview box:rotfl:

Hi blue monkey....if you ever need any advice in dealing with behaviour issues, drop me a pm and I can always see if I have any suggestions. I have been through various behaviour management courses for my children and some things have worked while others haven't. Plus over the years, have developed some of my own which do the trick in some situations. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Thanks SS, I have been and made an appointment for Docs for next Fri but have asked him to call me to see what happens now. I'll drop you a PM over the weekend.
I've actually come for a little moan this time. The MP has chased the housing people up and they come out with so much bullsh!t the whole time when they write to him (he sends me copies of their letters). This time it was that it was me that was being funny about going into a hostel because of Ryan - indeed, we even got the papers half filled in to move to the hostel before that woman at the council told us we could stay here as an alternative. The whole letter to the MP makes it sound like it is me being difficult and unreasonable. Oh that the woman who does the homeless interview was 'sympathetic to the situation' and during the interview I had made it clear homeless accomodation was not suitable  and that I had refused it for this reason. I know I know different - do you think the MP knows they lie in the letters they send him or should I email back like a paranoid freak saying 'I did not do this, that and the other'.
Jeez, she was the one who said 'how are you going to cope' and I said 'we will because we have no choice'. How on earth is that making it clear it was unsuitable for gods sake - I had my bloody bags ready! They even have my name and address wrong on the letter they sent to him about me. I am fine, I just got this letter and it has made me so angry that they twist everything to come back on me - we would have gone had they not suggested staying - but now that is my fault. I suppose it is my fault that they will not give me the damn points to be able to move!! Oh yes, I forgot, not being flexible enough!!
I have one mighty letter of complaint going in after we have got somewhere to live. I wonder if they know I am getting copies of all of those? Credit where it is due to the MP - I get a WRITTEN response to each and every email I send him. So 3 cheers to my Conservative MP!!
I feel better now I have that off my chest.
I went and got the Wii Fit today - I am exhausted as I write this email, mine is the Wii UNFIT!! :rotfl:0 -
Yay, three cheers to the MP!!!!
I can't help wondering after reading what you've written whether they have confused you with someone else. The naughty streak in me wants to write to the MP, say its a shame that they appear to have mixed you up with someone from a different address, because the experience was very different to that written down, and here's what actually happened.
I just need to give your local council some of my frustration, so here goes...:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? That is a very good suggestion it is also probably true. The HO sees so many cases that she is making mistakes:mad:
Go for it Bluemonkey e-mail him and Suggest she has mixed you up.

Thanks guys,
I have been thinking on this as by the time my husband came in and started going on about it was I was shaking ith rage. Having read the letter again it makes out that Mrs x was being unco-operative and refusing all the help they have offered me because of her son.
I am trying to think of the correct wording to say but thought I would start 'thank you for sending me the letter, I am glad you forwarded it onto me so that I can point out what actually happened - what with actually being in the meeting with Mrs x' I wanted to say that I hope that what was written in the letter did not affect him wanting to help us because feel the letter did not cover all that happened in the meeting, we had infect chose to love to the hostel and Mrs x started filling out the paperwork - this should be in our file - but then she said we had one more option and this was to stay and that option would probably be better for us. So we agreed. She even told us we should not tell my mother and let her find out when we did not go. She also told me that she knew we would probably not accept the property in x town so she had 1 if not 2 rooms at a hostel lined up if we wanted them. I am also going to point out that we know we are probably going to be sent to a hostel hence us having our cats rehomed, getting our stuff ready for storage and offloading our stuff onto friends for storage!! How does that make me unco-operative for heavens sake.
Right this minute I am sick and tired of the damn council lying about me to hm, it is not the first time but the lasttime I let it go. But now it starts all over again.
Do you think I should send the letter or not. My husband thinks so but I am still not 100% sure.
Next week, on the same day the list comes out, MP has an open Surgery. IF there is something available on the list (and for this reason only I dearly hope there is) we are going to go down to see the MP, put the list on the table and tell him that we are applying for this house, I am taking the notes and qill point out where it says they will house us and tell him to find out what the hell has happened to the points we was promised so we are able t secure this accomodation. And let them answer to him.
Right this minute I have no problem in going to a hostel, but I would love there to be something available next week so that I can cause a few more waves by getting the MP involved in making them do what they told him they said they were going to do!!

BM
Not been on line for a few days... been a bit unwell... residue of whats going on for me.. ( still it will pass)
Glancing over your last few messages.... a suggestion I would make via the MP's letter is that to ensure that any further face to face communications with any L/A employee be written down in your presence and you sign to say its a true record of the conversation that has taken place. Also for you to be provided with a copy of the communication. This allows for transparency and is recommended by Supporting People. Your homelessness notes should form part of your support plan when in temp accommodation for the support provider.0 -
Hi Gina,
I am still steaming over this letter I am afriad, I know it is silly and all that and it should not get to me but the whole thing is just making me so mad and cross.
I was showing my friend the letter today and something else jumped out at me, it says 'yada, yada, yada, however, I am not optimistic that we will be able to offer anything more suitable than that already REFUSED by Mrs X'!!!
So that set me off for a few hours. And then I get snappy at the kids because I am thinking about it.
I do not think we will have another meeting until the bailiffs date arrives. That will mean hubby has another day off work to go and get the paperwork done again. I will remember what you have told me though but this is just unbeleiveable.
What is making me more upset/angry is that the MP might be sat there thinking that I am asking his help and yet am refusing the things they offer me. Which I think is bang out of order and an absolute disgrace, that they can tell him i am refusing what they have offered me when it was THEM that told me it was best to stay here and not move into the damn hostel that day!!
I have partially written the email, but I have written it in anger and it waffles. I don't want it to waffle and I do not want to send an email trying to justify myself. And my husband is going on 'have you sent the email, have you sent the email....' NO! I do not want to get into a 'tit for tat' war over words but at the same time I do not think that these people should get away with lying about people. How do we ever get around that?
I am off to pponder some more with my sun burned face. It was hot today and I started clearing the garden!! Playhouse is down now as are my cothing rails to make more space in the garage. There *seems* so much to do and so many unresolved bits and pieces that I can see and do nothing about.
I have the weekend to think on this. it's weird to think we will have support workers in there though, what do they do, what sort of support can they give.0
