    Morning

Exciting day here yesterday, at 1.30 the power went off, and didn't come back on until 12.30 am, so 11 hours with no power. Some of our neighbours were OK, so managed to put some fish in a frends freezer, but had to send out for a takeaway ;) It was quite nice at first with the candles, but after a couple of hours we got fed up, and I missed Martin 's programme. We are having new street lights put in, and I think the men cut through a cable

Out for lunch with a friend I haven't seen in ages, so lots of gossip to catch up on.

Have a good day everyone x

  • Morning all

Just a quick post to say Hi:hello: .

Haven't read yesterday's thread through but will do so later. Hope everything is ok and those of you who feel rotten get better soon.

Managed to declutter some of DS room before I went to work yesterday. Work was busy but ok.

Have changed sheets this morning and they're in the WM. Must have a look at my list of things to do in a mo. Don't think I'll be getting much done as I am out this morning helping Mum and Dad move furniture. Also need to go to Lidl and farm shop.

Off to turf DS out of bed, going to look around one of the junior schools he will hopefully be going to next year. We're lucky we can walk there.

Have a good day all :A xxxxx

Morning all hugs to those that need them :o ,

I'm in work earlier than usual because we've got a meeting this morning :( and I need to get stuff sorted before. I've missed the last few because of medical appointments and I'm getting some gyp about being absent, but I just don't want to have to explain to people even though the sarky comments are getting to me a little bit (and my boss said I didn't have to explain to them). Boss is away today but my collaborators are being demanding so it still feels like the day is going to be quite draining.

Catowen, I hope you have a nice relaxing day and it helps you to feel better. redruby, I hope you feel better and it doesn't get any worse.

hope everyone has a good day, cel x

    Good morning everyone!

Feelng a bit tired as went out with my 'fat club' for a curry last night!! We put in a £1 a week and decided to spend it so it was a cheap fun night out!

But I'm gonna have to start cutting down again as I put weight on over Christmas so will be going on the os lose weight thread later!!!

Work today, was very OS and asked for a doggy bag from the curry house so DH will be very happy with his curry for tea! Was stuck at the garage for over 3 hrs yesterday s didn't get much done t home and won't today either and I'm at a PTA meeting today, don't want to go but don't want to let people down!

Anyway, good days to you all will try and catch up later xxx

    Hello everybody,

Been a busy little bee over here in the Aussie household. :D It's hard work being the building supervisor. Still showery weather which has been great as the temp is cool. Hot as hell everywhere else though. :p Doing another meal with eggplant. I'm crumbing and frying them. Not really good for the waistline. But if you can't beat em, join em, isn't that right Churchmouse. :D

dlb & MrsMix Good luck with no smoking. I did it 8 years ago and never looked back. It's just mind over matter.
Moiliere I found the dye and I"m hoping to do it over the weekend. ;)
Ruby I hope your sore throat doesn't develop worse. Suck a lemon. :D Isn't that what Twink recommended.

Well better get going. Hope you all have a nice day. Byeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Bleah - work's not happening after all as I've apparently still got this V&D bug and I don't trust myself on a train. Inbetween loo visits I shall attempt some tidying and cleaning.

The boss just emailed back ordering me to stay home for the rest of the week. Half the office is off with it. I offered to share my germs with him but for some reason he's not interested ;)
