Enjoyed the show, and have just watched the extra bit on the Pays to Watch website, which was even better than the show itself.

The quick talking style and Martins striped shirts will be Martins trademark. The subject of the show will not be new to users of this site, but will be new for people who have not found it until now.

Site stats show 6,700 signed up to the e-mail today, and there were 8814 users online at 8.17pm. The highest number online ever. Was this as a result of the show?

    Congratulations to all involved.

And was that the MSF presenting the weather just before the show?

    Carol

Agreed!!! It was great, Martin was absolutely superb!

Congratulations to ALL involved in the Programme...:D

The very best of luck to Martin :A for a highly successful Series...:T

I'm just watching it again and as Martin says Ruth carefully "introduced" Martin as Money Saving Expert so as Jessica says with the name of Martin Lewis and Money Saving Expert, voila, googlers are here :)

Along with a mention of this site on the show's website and a direct link to the forums here ;) :rotfl:

Generally i thought it was a great show but it did have good AND bad points -

I never really get the time to search the website for every useful bit of information that could save ME money so i'm sure things would come up that i find useful. I can also see it appealing to others though - my parents rarely use the internet so they found the programme quite interesting.

One thing i did find annoying was that Martin was talking too fast! Sometimes its difficult to get your head round these things so they might need explaining a bit more clearly, although i thought the news feature Martin did was very useful - everyone must be aware of rising energy prices and it was nice to see martin explain what to do.

My only other complaint is that woman - what was her purpose?? She didnt really seem to bring anything to the programme, she wasn't even that good looking in my opinion!! :rotfl:

Anyway a good first show but YOU NEED TO SPEAK MORE SLOWLY MARTIN! :money:

I've been an MSEr for four years now, so I didn't learn anything I didn't know. However, for people who haven't heard of Martin and his tips, it was brilliant:T
I've converted two work collegues this week too!
It was worth watching just to see Martin dashing about in his manic way:rotfl:
Oh, and one more thing Congratulations on your engagement Martin!!!
    I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Thought overall it was a good show...Lots of energy from the hosts and lots of enthusiasm. Martin will help steer those who want to listen through the money maze.
The only downside for me was the drainpipe...Confusing and rushed; Prolly better to concentrate on the guests rather than move the pointer up and down.
Again well done Martin and keep up the good work!

Yes, the pointer did seem to be going up and down at random. Far too quick.

The rest of the show was great though. Need to get the missus watching it.

I Sky+ed it and got about a minute of the MSF before the show. :j
