Thank you for the feedback... glad most of you liked it.. to answer some of the questions
Of my own performance, watching back I did speak too quickly in parts and need to slow down; partly I was a victim of time pressure.
What we did was a good programme, with amazing MoneySaving results which needs a touch more polish. We only got the commisison 6 weeks ago and lost three weeks over Christmas; for a TV programme to be done in this time from scratch is virtually unheard of. The team has done an incredible job.

Yes, you may have spoken too quickly in parts... but when adrenilin is rushing through every pore of your body, it is extremly difficult to slow your self down.
I know, that when many persons are listening to what I am saying, in extremly testing/life threatening circumcstances, I take a very deep breath, and try to listen to what I am saying as they should hear it. Its almost as if in the third person.
It is very difficult to slow your speech down.... espeacially if you are under specific time contraints.
I do hope that you find your comfort zone:o
Good Luck for the future programmes. :T
I will be watching .....:D :cool:0 -

It not really a 'legal' thing, it'll be in his contract with C5, not to mention it. They have spent money setting up a new website for the show. Moneysavingexpert is not really anything to do with the 'show', though the C5 website looks to be written from the MSE website mostly. C5 don't make a penny from MSE. If martin wants/needs (which he doesn't) to advertise his website he can pay like every other advertiser on C5Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Nope its not a five issue - its an Ofcom regulatory issue.
A presenter of a programme cannot plug a product - and this website counts as my product; very strictly I can't mention it. This is a sneaky tip - you can tell where I'm a contracted presenter by when I'm introduced as Money Saving Expert and there's no plug for the site.
When I'm not contracted I am Martin Lewis from MoneySavingExpert.com

im in agreement. the show was good although not the normal martin ive come to expect. but this was the first show and it did have alot of information. the format was good and given the chance to develop has the makings to be great. Dont forget this site is the biggest funded site ever and often comes acroos some pretty stiff opposition. but the general gyst? was good and for anyone that has never come across this site will be very informative.
What would i like to see more of? maybe spend more time on topics as it sometimes did come across rushed but to be honest the programme didnt seem to be on 10minutes (half an hour i know really isnt a long time). Also im hoping to see alot more moneysaving tips regarding household stuff like bills. i know there was some but i just love hearing all that.
i loved the show and as above my only real critiscism would be to spend longer on some of the issues. but for day one congratulations and well done to the team. i hope it reaches the people its meant to.
for those that think they knew it all. yes we sat there smuggly thinking weve read that on here but some people have never actually found this site unlike us and dont have the benefit of day to day help on here. therefore to me the shows primary aim is to reach those who have not got this help and give them the help they need.
can i ask martin was the comper of here? can see that board getting even busier now with less chance of me winning lolback to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0 -

just read your post again martin. Have you, as one of the country's leading financial journalists, seriously not heard of the Head of Personal Finance on one of the UK's biggest financial websites and himself a leading writer/commentator??? I find that baffling. Are you serious?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
