Good show! I thought that Martin seemed slightly 'Hyper':D Most of the information has been on the site but I bet that the masses will soon subscribe. The banks/building societies must cringe when Martin states the obvious!! I bet they will be busy tomorrow morning.

I have an account at First Direct and I think that their conditions will not allow too many people to join, stop for a while to get the £100 then leave.

Well done Martin. Keep it up:beer:

If you are a regular to this site, then I dont think there was any new information in it.
But it is aimed at the masses, so I guess they have to start somewhere

Sorry i disagree, there is so much on this site i am on pretty much every day but you kind of end up sticking to certain boards. I get the email and do look around but it would take hours to read through everything and catch everything going on. But if it was not for watching tonight i would not be claiming back the meaf from 2 mortgage lenders tomorrow.

  • Anyone know if it's repeated sometime?
  • Okey Dokey - well first I thought Martin could have presented the show alone.Thought the lady shouted a bit, I didn't like the way pounds were always called 'quids' but that's just me,...I thought the set looked a bit cheap, would be nice if the audience could have been seated? I loved the old style bit (more of that please) and I'm going to look for soap balls...a whole lot of information in a short space of time, Liked the Paul & Debbie segment, and think this could work with 'normal' folk too?
I enjoyed it and will be watching it regulary - take a breath Martin - slow down - you are doing fine!!!!!

Yes the show was sort of a cross section of MSE. There wasn't much news for me as I get the weekly email etc. and have done MEAF reclaiming and comping but it is about bringing moneysaving to the masses, isn't it? Martin needs to get a bit calmer though. I know the show is only 30 minutes long but all the topics were mentioned so quickly. "There is this great gym membership loophole, reclaiming your MEAF is so easy, you really shouldn't have a fee-paying account, X spends 90 minutes a day on comping and btw, vinegar is good for cleaning!"
    Reclaimed thanks to this site:

  • Thought overall it was a good show...Lots of energy from the hosts and lots of enthusiasm. Martin will help steer those who want to listen through the money maze.
The only downside for me was the drainpipe...Confusing and rushed; Prolly better to concentrate on the guests rather than move the pointer up and down.
Again well done Martin and keep up the good work!

Me too the whole guest thing was a bit of a let down to me and the drain pipe made me dizzy going up and down and totally confused me had no idea what he was then going on about it all seemed a bit rushed with the guests and they seemed uncomfortable too.
