I thought the show was great, a bit fast moving, could do with a longer slot, missed Paul Daniels as my Son was crying in bed, so had to check on him.
I did learn about soap nuts, so I have ordered a sample yesterday, I do check a lot of the boards, but there are only so many hours in the day to look at all the info on here.
On the whole I really enjoyed it
The high waisted skirt & "fitted" blouse are fashionable lol she was lovely & slim, so I thought she looked fine & did a good job:TComping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

Next weeks guest is Lempit Obik the MP. I think I've spelt it right.
It's the other way round actually, LOL - Lembit Opik. Will he bring his Cheeky Girl along?
I agree about the woman presenter - she is surplus to requirements IMHO. THis is not really a Phil and Kirstie format.
And I find it frustrating that MSE cannot be mentioned - when the comper was on I wanted to scream at the tele that all the comps are on MSE and you don't need to google the answers as people on the threads ususally provide them! And Debbie said something to Martin about "I've been getting your emails for years" and I could just picture people in front of the tele saying "What emails?"Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Well, I forgot all about and watched Corrie! Sorry Martin
(I've just watched the web thingy - the female presenter looks good: well dressed, attractive and friendly.)0 -
Hi
I agree with most of the comments here - female presenter was surplus to requirements, maybe she should be a 'roving reporter' instead. (Without meaning to be personal she also needs a little more wardrobe allowance - her clothes were distracting!!)
Martin does need to slow his style down, but I understand that there is a lot of info to get out!!
Drainpipe didn't work well, why not have a board similar to Top Gear (but obviously different!) with just end results showing?
The audience looked slightly awkward, are they all really needed?
Maybe just a few people who could take part in the challenges?
Overall a good show, just need a little more polishing. If it was put together in such a short space of time then I think everyone involved did a fantastic job!0 -
I thought it was fantastic ,well done Martin & Co:T
It was fast moving and punchy.I am sure Martins enthusiasm is infectious!
Remember folks it was the first show and will evolve as it goes along!
Not sure about the drainpipe
I have set my halfprice V+ box (thanks MSE!) to record the whole series in case I forget and watch Corrie!:rotfl::j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasnt that Martin's new fiancee Lara doing the weather before his programme? How sweet!0

I thought it was brilliant, I had no idea you could use vinegar as fabric softener and I'm off to find soap nut thingies. Martin is great, he always seems to be bouncy when he's on telly, he must love money saving so much he gets so excited about passing it on and saving us hundreds
nice one, looking forward to next weeks
