One for every item that they were showing in their stock levels.
Can't order any more than that as the item disappears when stock level reaches zero and reverts to next supplier's price.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
Good luck to everyone, but I doubt anyone will receive anything other than an apology/explanation and a full refund.
I do, however, expect to see people on here threathening to boycott Amazon, seek legal advice, quote chapter and verse about consumer law and generally become very upset.
Put it down to one you win or one you lose peeps.
If it comes off great, if not move on to the next bargain.
Good luck0 -

I must admit I quite enjoy seeing people getting their knickers in a royal twist because they've not been allowed to rip a company off (which, essentially is what they want to do). They'd also be in a high dudgeon if the roles were reversed.
As I've said above, if we get ours, I'll be delighted. If we don't then - well, shrug of the shoulders and c'est la vie.
I just wish I'd seen their Toshiba laptop for £20odd in time:D
ETA: Just checked my account and it's still showing delivery of 13-16 January and at the low price. At least they've not cancelled it yet!0 -
Try your local PCWorld for a HP Media Vault mv2010. Not available online, so don't look!
Currently on clearance - I paid £79.97 for a 300GB one yesterday. Expandable to 1.2TB.
Typically £250 everywhere else
£80 will buy you a bobby basic NAS, but this is in a different class.
Otherwise eBay is your best bet.
If you don't want one that works with Vista (most NAS drives don't work with Vista at all/properly), try a SmartDisk SOHO NAS or a Buffalo Linkstation. Both can be found on eBay.
a freecom network drive pro 500gb does!Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.

Yep ! I think we need to chill out and wait to see what happens.... like to be a fly on the wall on this one. :cool:0

My guess is I think they will cancel our orders and the reason why you don't have an email yet is they had lots of orders to go through.
I picked some camera gear and on the page it said "sale" only £21ish each for the 3 items I picked. My order is still on Amazon and I cannot cancel it or do anything with it, so to me it has been completed by them. If you were in a shop, picked up the items and they had a low price on them, they have to sell it at the lower price.
I wonder if the guy who up loaded the prices will get fired???
At the end of the day you haven't lost anything.0 -
You won't see a cancellation on your Amazon order history. The contract to supply the goods is with the marketplace seller. I've had orders cancelled and refunded by marketplace sellers and they never show up as 'cancelled' on the order history.0

This is also why it is possible to 'fabricate' feedback. Advertise your goods on Amazon - you see some silly prices that no-one in their right mind would even consider! - and get your mates to make orders, you then cancel the orders and Amazon is none the wiser. Your mates still get to give feedback  .
Good luck anyway!0 -
I have just checked some older orders and some have shipped 1 package as an update and others have nothing.
So as you say it is now with the marketplace seller. They probably have loads of orders to go through and notify people.0
