LaCie 320 & 500 GB External USB & Network Hard Drive - Surely not £22?

Hi there all,

I may be reading this entirely wrong, so please can someon check it out for me. I have been looking to buy an external USB & Ethernet (NAS) hard drive for a while, and have just seen this nice 320Gb LaCie model on amazon for £21.67.

Am i reading this right???!!! ... a 320GB hard driver for under £30?!!!???
Here is the link to the product on the LaCie web site, there is also a 500GB model on amazon too for the same price?!!!

What am i reading wrong... it seems to be a £129 drive for £22???!!
Something is not right here, but I can't see it!!! But if it is right, this is a massive bargain!!!! I haven't ordered a dozen yet just in case I am being stupid!!:rotfl:

Maybe someone can tell me what an idiot I have been and where I'm not reading it right!! Cheers,

Cocksy!

Well, I've not got the foggiest notion what it even is, but I asked DH to have a look and his eyes practically popped out of his head. I won't repeat the language, but I got the general idea that he thought it was a bit of a bargain.

He practically tripped himself up in his haste to get to his credit card :D.

He's ordered one, and the grand total, including P&P is £29.57.

At that price, he says he's prepared to lose £30 and look a fool (I say nothing! ;))
  • !!!!!!, I'd better order one before they notice their mistake then!!!

Have you seen their feedback. This "bargain" is very unlikely to come off. They also offer a 4TB version for £22.09. Next cheapest is Pixmania at £1,608. If it looks too good to be true....

yep, definately something very wrong with his pricing model as the monitors he's selling are all strange prices too.

I don't think anybody is going to get any of these as something brown is going to hit the fan in the morning :rotfl:
