First of all Congratulations to all and fingers crossed for the rest of you's.
With DD it was tiredness i wanted to sleep all the time i'd get out of bed and an hour later i wanted to climb back in! Plus needing the toilet all the time.
With DS it was alcohol i was on a girly weekend away 1st night in and we hit the pub OMG even the smell of alcohol knocked me sick. Needless to say i remained sober the entire weekend. Came home monday evening took test wed.

The 1st time I was pregnant I had a craving for lettuce, and one of the lads I worked withcommented that I had a healthly glow, middle of a december, ( unfortunately things didnt work out).

When I was pregnant with dd, it was weird, the 1st sign for me, been out celebrating belated new yr I was a manager for one of those lovely burger places, meant worked new yr. gone out few drinks, head for a curry, but as soon the curry came I had to go and be sick, (we put down to drink), I could not touch it, very unlike me.
About a wk after that still off colour and I had really bad pains in my lower back, and being sick, I wasnt due on at the time 4 a week, my gp did a pregnancy test - negative, but he put it down to a kidney infection, but didnt give me tablets - inconclusive result, p sample 4 hosp.

4 days later was going back 2 gp, but did a pregnancy test b4 went, ( I just cant p to order), very faint blue line.he said inconclusive wait to due on......waited to day due on, line was stronger blue (1st wee), back to gp,
congratulations your pregnant.

I had my 1st scan at 5 weeks, coz of being so sick, she just looked like peanut in shell.

I had morning sickness from b4 I knew to 28 weeks gone, anthing would set me off, worst was anything mint, toothpaste, shampoo, x

Hi everyone, My period is 2 days late and I have symptoms of pregnancy. I sometimes get a metallic taste in my mouth and I have had stomach cramps for the past 2 days. I also have sore boobs and I keep waking up in the night to go to the toilet. Im going to do a test on friday if my period still hasnt arrived!! So excited , good luck to everyone.

What is it with people? :rotfl: How can you wait 'til Friday? Just do one now, the test could well show up.

I'm too impatient to be subscribed to this thread! I'm going to stand by the door handing out sticks for everyone to pee on in a minute!

Lol, can just imagine you passing em around!

I was same as others - boobs as sore as anything, spotting, and then a few days later having to run past the cafeteria at uni cos the smell of coffee made me retch. Unfortunately I wasn't pregnant for very long

That was a real tell tale sign for me with my pregnancies.

That was my craving too, for my first pregnancy, although it HAD to be rasberry not strawberry , it didn't kick in until later though.
With my first two pregancies I just 'knew' within a couple of days, followed by sore boobs, the third time I had less clues, and didn't 'feel' pregnant until much later on.
