  • sorry somehow posted twice:A
  • Basically I was pretty sure I was going to come on my period as my boobs went sore after ovulation and then stopped close to should-have-been AF, as usual. AF due day came and went and I had mild leg cramps - not as bas as usual with AF but enough to make me figure I was just late. At about 3 days late my cramping had gone and a calm feeling came over me - I wasn't bothered about a test because I knew I was pregnant. It wasn't that usually panicky need-to-do-a-test feeling I had had pre-AF every month for the last 11 months, I just knew. 5 days late and going out that night so I did a test just to be sure and it showed positive as soon as the ink went up.
About 1 week late I got mildly sensitive boobs which has continued, a little heavy and plumper than usual (they are tiny so I am :D). At about 6.5 weeks (now 10weeks) morning sickness hit me and since then I have lost about half a stone, sick after most meals, aversions to almost everything... its horrible!
I honestly would wait until you are a bit late to test - I know its super hard, but I felt it was worse doing a pregnancy test every month and seeing it negative than just waiting for your AF to come. I really hope you are pregnant and that you are happy - it isn't much consolation but my partner used to say to me that this month wasn't the right time if it was negative, that everything happens for a reason, and told me how lucky I was for the things I still did have that other people didn't. I work with severely disabled people and sometimes it can make you stronger to put your own life in perspective to what others suffer. Baby Dust

With all 4 of mine I knew I was expecting even before I missed a period.

Boobs hurt like hell and the really strange thing was that I'd be up at 4.00 am mish absolutley starving for boiled eggs and soilders.

All that coupled with having hot flushes and weeing every 5 minutes. I just knew.

I have to say though that with both my girls I've never experienced a tiredness like I had. I spent the first 3 or 4 months of the pregnancies sleeping as if there was no tomorrow. Very odd.

Funny taste in my mouth. Felt dizzy/sick like I'd been on a roller coaster. Went off coffee. Took test 3 days before due on and it was positive!

Have to admit big fat hairy tiredness here too! (allthough nowt compared to how I feel now!:rotfl: )

My morning sickness started at 8/9weeks, till 19weeks.....my (male) Dr pointed out that the 2nd Trimester is when "most" women feel at their best in pregnancy...I just had to be different!

    Fingers crossed miss pink

I would do a test - from what you are saying, the Dec period may have been an implantation bleed, which would show up on a urine test by now if that is the case. Nothing to lose by doing one.

With DS1 i kept going dizzy and hot, with DS2 i felt sick a couple of days before my period was due.
If everyone cared and nobody cried, if everyone loved and nobody lied, if everyone shared and swallowed their pride then we'd see the day when nobody died.

  • I thought I was pregnant when I got travel sick at the start of a weeks holiday in Italy - and I never get travel sick. AF was due the day after I got back, and when we did the test (POAS) the lines were quite feint - probably as I know that I ovulate later in my cycle and must have been only just pregnant. It seems I was one of the few people who get nausea as soon as they get pregnant!!
