  • wow, this is freaky, can't believe i've stumbled on this thread!
we're just coming to the end of our first monthly cycle of using Clomid, am feeling really odd. VERY sore boobs, sleeping 11 hours at night (not like me at all), feeling sleepy and 'leaden' and being very 'crabby and emotional' (hubby spending rather a lot of time in shed at the mo' lol). Has anyone out there used Clomid before- are these normal side-effects or is it worth taking a test (am 3 days late but my periods can go 'odd' sometimes)? sorry for rambling!

Hi.. Well I just found out that I'm pregnant (y'day) and my boobs have been sore for about 2 weeks. Also, I find that I'm feeling really forgetful, for example I took my foot off the clutch to wait for OH to go into shop and I'd left it in gear so I jerked forward!! Never mind, will only get worse I imagine but will be funny!!!

Get another test done!! Go on!

lol get down that supermarket now and buy a test! Even if it's negative then at least you know! (It might be twins lol)

I've taken Clomid and although it made me feel like rubbish, I never had of the symptoms you're describing. But I never got pregnant on it either.

  • thanks mrcow, think i'm going to have to take the bull by the horns and do a test, the not knowing is killing me! unfortunately the consultant didn't mention any clomid side effects apart from the increased likelyhood of multiple births (yikes!) so if the test is negative i might have to see my GP to see if what i'm feeling is usual.
congratulations on all the newly expectant mse'ers on this thread btw!!!!!

Sore boobs and heightened sense of smell definitely.

Best of luck with the test!!

Sore boobs, nipples turned brown and really fancied eating potatoes (wouldn't say as strong as a craving). When I got these signs with my youngest I knew I was pregnant even though 4 pregnancy tests said otherwise.

first sign of pregnancy for me with number three was a pain in my right side. Doctor examined me and sent me for a scan on my bladder. I had to wait a couple of weeks.

Result - Eight months pregnant and she was born the next week (so only knowingly pregnant for 9 days!)

Normal periods and same clothes throught out

    Congratulations to everyone
Doing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
