First Sign's Of Pregnancy

Hi, just a quick question for you all. Was just wondering what were your very first signs that you were pregnant? I mean before the missed period and test? I know all people are different and experience different things but in dec my period was quite light and then last week my breasts were very sore and i had some period like tummy cramps, nothing sore, just usually means my period will come in the next couple of days but it didn't. Im not usually due until next week but since my MC in sept last year my periods have been very irregular. I don't want to take a test yet as I am unsure of when to take it, i.e. now or next week. I also don't want to get our hopes up.

Thanks for reading, all advice appreciated.

    Tiredness!

    And my chest felt bigger/heavier.

And I get indigestion and breathlessness really early on before any "normal" signs start.

With ds I had a one day period and then a little spotting for a couple of days(implantation bleed) when I was due on, then nothing. A week later when my boobs were killing me I did a test and it was positive.

Second time (MC at 5 weeks) started being sick two or three days before due on - think this was a sign it wasn't quite right.

This time I was doing my bbt and that kept rising so gave me a good indication, but otherwise had a very slight implantation bleed the week before my period.

    Good luck!

Hi miss pink, with all 3 of mine the signs were feeling nauseous (like when your really really hungry), extremley tired. as for when to take test, personally I don't think it matters. With my first I was sent home feeling ill,as if I was going to pass out. Decided to do a test as I had not had a period for over 2 mnths, just to see. Negative. The following week I decided to do another one, as my mum was nagging I should see the dr to make sure everything was ok- positive. The exact same thing happend with my 2nd, one weeek neg, the next pos.
I would take the test now if you can't wait, then if it comes neg, wait and see if period turns up, if not do another test, if still neg perhaps go see dr.
Sorry it was long wided but hope this helps. Good luck and let us know how you get on.;)

    Hi
I felt really tired and dizzy very early on, I waited until my periods were 7 days late and then did the test.

With my DS I felt like you described i would have staked all the money in my bank that my period was due... (felt miserable, general uncomfortable tummy you know how you are b4 a period)....

Then when I walked upstairs I was out of breath... did a pregnancy test and it was negative....

1 week later did another test with the idiot proof Pregnant/Not Pregnant test and it was positive.

I had intermittent spotting until 28 weeks. HTH

My first signs this time were bigger boobs, tiredness and nausea. I also had some stomach cramps at about the time my period was due.

When I was pregnant with DD I still got the bigger boobs, but also 'felt' pregnant and went right off alcohol and coffee - before I even missed a period.

    Good luck

Again painful boobs and feeling totally sick. It might be an idea to do a test as then you can put that out of your mind.
Me and my daughter did her test together, it wasn't clear whether she was pregnant or not so we went and got the (expensive) one that said the word pregnant, which it did. Much rejoycing followed.

Good luck, fingers crossed for you. x

    Pg1 - can't remember, but pg2 definitely sore boobs and pg3 tiredness.

In hindsight it was amazing I was 'awake' enough to even perform a test.
