    Heartburn.

Did the test at 27 days, wasn't even late and that was nearly 14 years ago, it showed a faint blue line. Went on holiday came back convinced that I had it wrong and wasn't pregnant despite having boobs like rocks and being two weeks late. Spent another £20 on tests only to prove of course I was pregnant.

    Do the test!!!

With ds I had a one day period and then a little spotting for a couple of days(implantation bleed) when I was due on, then nothing. A week later when my boobs were killing me I did a test and it was positive.

I've always been very irregular but, exactly a month after my last period I had a tiny bit of spotting, surprised I even noticed as there was nothing much there. I knew then I was pregnant.
A few days later my boobs were hurting like crazy, they looked loads bigger too. Started feeling quite tired each evening and I decided to take a test (or 9 :o :rotfl: ) a week later, the word 'pregnant' appeared (and very strong lines, as I didn't believe the digital tests).
I didn't start feeling sick until 2-3 weeks after, would have been around 8-9weeks. The tiredness and sickness really hit me at 9-10weeks, I could barely stay awake after 2pm at work
    The £2.00 Coin Savers Club = approx £22.00  :j.. The 20p Savers Club = £17.80.

Sore boobs - so sore it was a case of "don't come within six feet of me", and constantly needing to wee.

Hi ladies. Thank you for taking the time to reply to my post. I know I need to take the test but i think i will wait another week or so do it. Just incase. My breasts are still tender but I'm not needing the bathroom every 5 mins which seems to be a massive sign of pregnancy. Although, since last wed I have been waking up at weird times, i.e 2:30am 5am ect for something to eat :o
not just like toast or cereal, on Monday at 3:00 am I begged Mr Pink to make me lasagna and micro chips  gross!!!!

Oh Miss Pink I don't know how you can not take it!
For me, it was Crusha strawberry milkshake-cannot bear to look at the stuff normally, but could not get enough of it. My mum asked if I was preggers as I made her stock up as well for any occasion I popped over! Took the test a few days later, and I was! Even though I was only 6 weeks gone, I had that Crusha craving til I popped her out!!!!

Can i ask-to those who are pregnant or have been....did you get any pains a few days before your period would be due? and how bad were they? My sister has informed me she had some period type pains at the begining of her last pregnancy.

    Thank you,

    keely.

I've had period type pains from about 5 weeks to about 12 weeks this time round. It's all fine as the baby is all healthy and normal, but it can be worrying. I think it's just things pushing around a little perhaps and it seems to be worse when I'm busy. It also feels quite heavy, like a period, but I've had this with all four of mine too and it's been nothing to worry about. If sh'es worried, she should speak with her midwife.

Thanks mrcrow-its not her thats worrying, its me! Im currently wating for my period to arrive but ive been getting strange period pains/dizzyness etc for the past 3/4 days now. Im thinking its probably just my cycle playing up but something doesnt feel right. We started TTC about a month ago now, but cant get hopes up.... my period will probably arrive later on today!

Miss pink going to the toilet every 5min is not one of the usual 'first' signs. It will drive you crazy thinking about it. As for food wise, with DS1 b4 knowing I was pg,I would drool all day at what I wanted for tea and then cook it and not want it. They normally say that at 6wks the sickness kicks it because that's when your hormones start to get stronger, which has lways been the case with me.
Good luck to both you and keelykat.
