All the kids are sat eating their breakfast so thought i would take the chance to pop onto here!!! Never got round to the hoovering of the stairs so must do it today. Got dusting to do too.

Chicken curry for tea tonight so thats 3 meals out of one chicken so really pleased about that as we are on a very tight month this month. Mind you doesnt help when the school send a letter home wanting £11.50 by Friday for a school trip.

Hope you all have a good day

Hope everyone is bright and breezy today (unlike me). I'm badly in need of a good night's sleep at the mo. Feel extremely tired and I have a very busy week ahead - not a good combination.

Carpet fitter is coming to fit the bargain carpet in DS's room today and then I can reclaim my house! :j I'm so sick of looking at mess everywhere. So there will be a cleanup operation once the carpet fitter has left.

Have some rubber chicken that needs using so I will be making a chicken and sweetcorn pie for dinner with jacket spuds and lots of veg.

mrs mix sorry about the news re your knee. It must be difficult trying to do everyday things while hobbling around on crutches.
catowen good luck at the hospital. Hope you get the news you want to hear.
twink/kyle I *think* you both have to attend a funeral today? (((hugs))))
(((((hugs))))) to everyone who needs/wants one.

Must go and start emptying the room for the carpet fitter. Have a tremendous Tuesday. xx

  • Mornin all.

Toe was killing me at 5:30 AM so I took my pills then.

I did call the nurses at the hossie last night, my toes on my right foot were really warm and the other foot was like ice. They decided I had been on it too much and that was why, if it was throbbing with pain or weeping, then I should go to the GP for him to look at.

Other than that, I am resting up today as the managing director of the new company is at the depot tomorrow so I can tell him what I think of my boss, who has been a waste of space.

    Morning All

Tummy is still sore but I'll live. My friend's sent through my re-vamped CV so new job here I come!!!!!

Seeing a friend for a coffee later - met up with a different one yesterday.

    An idea for all mums:
Yesterday my friend made a picture collage for her toddler. She found an old photo frame - the one with lots of different shaped holes - and cut out pictures of one of his favourite characters from a comic of his, and stuck them to fill the holes. He loves it and now has it hanging proudly in his bedroom. Cheap, recycled addition to his walls:T

Hoping for an early night tonight after I was woken last night by a text message:mad:

    Hope everyone's ok

Chickpeas ready for the hummus today and use up the last of the tahini paste. Mince pies to use up last of mincemeat (am I the only one making these in january??:rotfl: ). Rice pudding (using up rice of course!), either bakewell tart or another jamie oliver lemon drizzle to use up ground almonds!
