Thanks dlb-well done on your sales too. I ought to go up and sort the loft out really, we've got loads of stuff but it's just in boxes all mixed up. Good luck with the rest of your listings. Hoping the weather will soon warm up so we can do some car boots as well. This is my get rid of some clutter and bring in some cash year!!!

    Hiya!

Twink big hugs to you tonight :grouphug:

Catowen That's great news from the hospital!

Not much to report from me today, took the girls to school and then helped at the church drop-in this morning. Then came home and made 3 turkey, leek and sweetcorn pies using up some of the xmas turkey from the freezer. Also had a text from a colleague who told me I'd won 3 weeks worth of bonus ball money £96! :j So that will be going into my piggbank and then into my ISA (which is always empty). I'm going to put all of my Ebay, clicks, winnings, money underspent from grocery budget etc into my piggybank/ISA this year and hopefully let it build up, well that's the plan! ;)
Right I'm off to finish the tea and make packed lunches for everyone as I'm back in school tomorrow too.

tattycath - well done also for your sales. Mine's doing ok too, Ive just won on ebay a greeting card display stand, so Im hoping my hand made cards will be displayed better and sell more when we do the car boots. Best thing about this stand, they normally retail for £135+, I won it for £12.

n9eav - glad you had a lovely holiday. Welcom back

    Evening all

Well had a really hectic day at work as expected. Took DS to the park after school, it was grey and blowing a gale but so nice to be out in the fresh air. Shall be doing some extra shifts over the next few weeks as we are so short-staffed.

    CATOWEN :j

KYLE AND TWINK glad the funeral went ok.

Hugs to anyone who needs them.

have done two loads of washing and bread rolls are in the oven. DS is eating for England, must be growing again. I've been picking since I got home and really don't fancy any dinner. That's what happens when you work anti-social hours.

Off to get ready for the morning. Have a good night all

    Hello all,

Wet and windy here and the wind is really managing to get in through the many little drafts in this 200 year old house, heat on but not making huge difference atm.

All are well here thankfully, nobody seemed themselves over Christmas and New Year, glad that has passed.

Bought one of Lidl's bacon mishapes for €1.99 this week and it turned out to be six very nice bacon chops...had some for dinner with carrots, onion, pickled red cabbage and mash...lovely!

Not good weather for washing but am managing to keep things going by draping clothes all over the house, will be glad when I can get them outside as I hate the place seeming like a laundry!

Hugs to all who are sick or in pain of any kind for any reason

    Hi everyone,
i`m having a quick ten mins catchup before i have a good long soak in the bath and an early night.
I got home a bit earlier than usual this afternoon and went straight into the kitchen to clear away from this morning and ended up cooking all afternoon.
I made 5 shepherds pies, 3 apple crumbles 24 muffins and a large steak and onion pie.
Most of it is in the freezer now and i really must get the inventory up to date as it`s getting really full again and it`s hard to find what i`m after.

DH has just been for a walk with the dogs and it`s vile outside, wet windy and freezing, it was sleeting earlier and i can hear the wind in the chimney and the rain hitting the windows with such force.
Ah well, rest over, time to make the sandwiches and get everything ready for the morning before my soak and an earlyish night, not looking forward to 345am again though.

Glad to hear some peoples good news and big ((((hugs)))) to all the poorlies out there. Hope you all feel better soon.
    Have a lovely evening everyone!

    Evening all!
Well done with all of that cooking Sunnyday!
Hugs to those who need/want, esp Pam!

Luckily we got the car started yesterday, had to call out the breakdown people and my battery was almost pancake flat! So we are having a new battery fitted (by my Dad) on Saturday and I hope to pop to Lakeland at Bluewater whilst I'm visiting my parents. Am staying clear of other shops there, apart from buying a pair of bright tights for my friends wedding reception to wear with my LBD-forget buying a new outfit when all you need is a couple of quid pair of brightly coloured tights :)

Am finishing work early on Friday as I need to go to the hospital and have my hands xrayed. I was going to have my hair coloured but will wait til the end of the month to see what money I have left after paying extra off my cards and putting a little bit away.

Going to make something to eat and then write a list of chores for OH to do on his week off-I gave him 2 days off and tomorrow he has to crack on! He is doing some painting tomorrow. Also need to make myself a list of things to do-for work and for home, and a list of lunches I can have from all the frozen soup in the freezer and the tins in the cupboard... I've got a lot to do this week at work, got 100 kids reports to do by Monday and can't do it at home as need a network connection for the software....arghh! Extra hour every day methinks!

    Have a good evening everyone.
