Boots Mediterranean Range 100 extra points [CLOSED]

Went into a Doncaster store today. Picked up 10 bags and a couple of other Mediterranean items and a voucher. Only got 100 points! Queried it with the sales assistant who called over the supervisor who patronisingly told me it was "per transaction". After I had told her that it works in all the other Doncaster stores, her jaw set and she informed me that she would be looking into it, as it was unfair that customers were making money out of Boots! (As if they don't make enough out of us!)
Anyway I had set my jaw too, so despite the tutting behind me (I thought Skippy was in the building) I decided to have my money refunded. Ah well it was nice while it lasted....Not Buying It! 20150 -
Hee hee, Skippy seems to follow me around on my shopping trips too!!!
I managed to get more face masks today. I told the boy at the till that he wasn't going to like me as I wanted to use 5 vouchers to buy five masks and that I wanted to pay for each seperatly. He wasn't bothered at all and started putting them through when I realsied that it wasn't adding the 100 points at all!! We then had a bit of a check on the vouchers to make sure I wasn't getting the item wrong (I knew I wasn't but its best to play along) he decided that the till must be programmed wrong and put the rest of the items through together then added the 500 points on manually. He was really kind and helpful but pesky Skippy was getting a little tetchy! I am so glad it still works but where are all the bags, they are sooooo pretty!0 -
I went to Boots today at the Trafford Centre and I printed out 3 Med vouchers as I wanted to get 3 body butters anyway.
Before she scanned my items I asked her if I should put my butters through as seperate transactions so I could get my 100 points for each and she said it should be ok but there was a lady behind her who I assume was a supervisor of some sort as she said she could add the points on if it didnt work.
Anyway, she put my butters through and then scanned one voucher which worked fine but when she tried to scan another, the till beeped at her. The supervisor then added on 200 points manually after my transactions had gone through.
When I left Boots I had a proper look at the receipts and saw that 300 points had been added to my total even though only one voucher worked and I also had been given 200 points by the supervisor so in total I ended up with 500 points when I should have got 200 points which was nice.
There were no gift bags to be seen in the Med section and I wasn't even gonna try it today anyway.
Hope this helps someone.0 -

i tried to buy 1 body butter and 5 face masks. only got 100points so queried it. queue growing. they said i would have to do it all individually, so refunded me and tried again. could not get extra points on masks at all..queue even longer, and OH going red...
oh well, i'll just have to go back with my 11 receipts tomorrow and return them.
of course, no bags in stock0 -
The rotherham branch doesn't have the vouchers. Got a bargain though. Gift packs that had been reduced from £10 to £5 rang up as £3.33 on the till so bought lots as I have loads of friends birthdays coming up and planning for christmas. Also packs that were down to £4 came up at £2.40. Shame the voucher wasn't on because I would have got loads of extra points on that lot.April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£1500

Did you do the bags altogether and did they add the points manually? Can get the bags, can get the voucher, but can't get the points. If I had known then what I know now . . .

I went in today to spend my Mirror vouchers & thought I'd try the machine & this "orchid bag" offer. Got 2 coupons for free sanitary towels & 3 mediterean points vouchers so got 3 bags, also get quite a few things using the Mirror vouchers. When I went to pay the lady at the till said it would go through no problem with them all together so she put them all through & tried getting all the coupons off but some wouldn't go through so she called over what I can only presume was a Supervisor.
This 2nd person said you can only use 5 vouchers/coupons in any 1 MONTH in any Boots card whilst using an advantage card & they are now cracking down & more than one person in any household having more cards (So what she was saying really was 1 card per HOUSEHOLD not per person!)
Anycase I had 3 items which I had seen the original cashier had scanned through (and taken my money for as she had to do each one individualy for this 2nd person to see!) but she was adamant she had only done 1 (The bags!) so she called me a liar & told me to shut up (With supervisor or whoever this 2nd person was there to hear her!) When she went back through the till roll she noticed I was right so gave me my money back, no apology though!
Then this 2nd person said someone had come in last week & bought 10 bags for £3.20 & got 1000 points on there card which apparently was wrong as you have to spend at least double the amount to get the points (So if you get 100 points free per purcahse you have to spend £2 minimum) I said it wasn't me as I only got my new card this week but she took my card off me & checked to see what I had bought in the last month on some machine she had there. She's said that anyone who has bought these bags within the last month will have the points taken away & if they can't find who they are they will do spot checks on anyone with a lot of points on there card.
Needless to say I came out of there very upset & was very angry. I have worked in retail & if I *EVER* told a customer they were a liar and/or to shut up I would have been sacked on the spot!
I want to make a complain but not sure how/where to do this? Do I phone that store direct or straight to the main number? What would you do?
Yvonne

I managed to get vouchers in the Basildon store yesterday and they had two bottles of toner reduced to 99p each - yippee 99p paid out and 100 points paid in. Even better result when I took them to the till as they went through on **SAVE** promotion and cost me 65p each.0
