Think the med offer must have been changed/has gone. I managed to print voucher in Newcastle store (it said 1 lot of point per transaction). Chanced my arm with two or three things (very little under a quid), but the assistant told me I would definintely only get 100 points for the lot. Only bought one of the things and it never even put those points on, but she added them manually. Mind you, I did get a free pack of Sanitary towels just for putting my card in the machine though and printing a voucher, so I am happy enough.0

Checked out the local Boots store today, and I only got a couple of offers and they were all [email="cr@p"]!!!!!![/email], not really offered any points as such and the offer that did was a £20 spend and 100 points for it, when before I was offered 100 points for a £10 spend but no offers offering me points. Oh well.... it was good while it lasted.
Had to chuckle when I picked up the July/August mag to see what offers were on the back pages....
Written on the front of the mag in big letters...

The points for a minium spend thing is a bit of a con because when you use it it increases the amount to spend everytime ! I have three cards one which i only use for printing off vouchers, and never spend anything on it always has 100 points for £10 spend while my own card that i use for purchases is worked its way up to a £40 spend ! SO get another card and just use it for printing vouchers at the machine.
But I loved the Med offerand am upset it has finished, unfortunately havenot been able to get to Boots lately tosee what else they could compinsate me with !0 -
Had a phone call from Boots this afternoon re not getting the points on the Med range. The lady on the phone said that it was becasue some of the range has 1/3 off and they don't do 2 offers on the same thing. Any way they are going to add some points to my card which I can pick up next time I go into a store and use the machine. Only they are sending me a new card becasue I joined the baby club and some how changed my name?

Got a £5 gift card sent today to make up for the voucher that should have scanned and an apology for the advantage machines not working.
Strange how CS approach this problem so differently for different customers.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Phew - thought it was just me. Checked the machine today, hardly any offers, very poor. I thought they must be punishing me for "abusing" the Advantage Card.
Currently whittling down my points total by buying lunch at Boots every day - getting a little bored with the choice, but my bank account looks better for it, so it's worth it, especially now I'm not getting the 25pt on a meal deal voucher out of the machine any more0 -
Just to let you know that even though there is no longer any 100 points vouchers available for the med range the orchid gift bags were today reduced to 15p each - so I managed to 'bag' 10 as they are such a bargain! Hope this is a national offer and someone else manages to get hold of some at this great price.0

Yesterday in Boots the machine gave me a 100 points voucher against the Med range, so I duly trotted over to the range and, hurrah! more of the Orchid bags in stock. Picked up 20, went to checkout, came to £3 in total, but no extra points. I queried this (feeling very cheeky
) and was told that the Orchid bags weren't in the Med. range. Strange, I said, they were last week. I don't think so, replied the assistant, snappily (obviously thought I was trying it on). Oh, how odd, says I, I definitely was given the points previously. I doubt that very much, says she. Have you got the receipt? Me: Not on me, but at home. Her: I thought not! :eek: How rude! Anyway, I'm afraid I wimped out at that point and said cheerily "Not to worry, they are a very good price anyway, thanks!" paid and left. Am quite tempted to take in the old receipt just to prove the point to the old bat........

finally got reply to my email re broken machines & missing out on offers - have 500 points waiting for next time i put my card in the machine! worth an email!Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!0
