Creating extra gmail addresses

Toggle as in move between the different inboxes of the various accounts (I don't use Chrome as a browser)

Why not just create 2/3 new gmail accounts and see if it works, will only take you about 10 minutes to do.

Do you need something like this?

I am reading the above posts and learning so much as you all debate amongst yourselves. I actually feel much less confused now as it is good to get info from real people on here and not the AI stuff I get directed to when I search online.
On my PC I usually access my emails via Outlook, on which I have my current gmail and 2 BT inboxes. Can I assume that I will be able to add new gmail accounts here also, as well as toggle between them on the Google Mailbox option. As always advice is so much appreciated. My late partner was my go to techie so I do struggle without his expertise.
@fenlander_uk Oh dear! Yet more options. Thanks for the link.

You can have multiple aliases into one Gmail account using the + sign - but all mail will be in the same in box !
you should be able to filter/organise based on the email address suffixi.e.
youremail@gmail.com
youremail+banking@gmail.com
youremail+socialmedia@gmail.comEDIT
It seems there might be another way too

I bit the bullet and set up a new gmail - a bit hairy as I seemed to get a lot of error messages along the way and security alerts but I now have a new gmail address in my Outlook box so all is hunky dory. Thanks everyone! Biggest problem was trying to find a new name that was not already taken took over 20 attempts.

Be warned that many organisations do not allow a "+" in e-mail addresses.
Old link, but I still see from time to time.

I was trying to use my BT names as one of of them is my school nickname from 60 years ago & everyone knows it's me. Plus it is nice and short with only 6 digits. I should have tried to there a way to check availability without constantly filling in the box and clicking continue - once something random actually worked I seemed to be on a roller coaster with no way back. I have now found a site where I can check available names so will look for something more suitable. Rats - it will only let me check 3 names for free each day.
