Quickest ISA transfer
Hi
Can anyone tell me the quickest providers for transferring a cash ISA?
Many thanks

At 4 months and counting, its not HSBC! Why do you need it moved quickly?

Did Principality BS to Progressive BS in 2 days last week.
Of not much use to you unless you tell us why you need a fast transfer and from whom?

My Coventry Cash ISA matured on the 17th August and the funds were transferred internally to a Coventry Easy Access on the 18th August.
I had requested a transfer to Progressive BS on maturity, and this was completed 30 minutes ago. The funds are now sitting in my new Progressive Online 1 Year Double Access Cash ISA. My wife's transfer was exactly the same timescale. I think that was pretty impressive. 😎

I saw one take less than an hour earlier this year. Reported here:

Opened the Progressive account as it will also come in useful for their regular savers. Many thanks everyone.

Do tell us when the funds arrive. On your application, was there any requirement for any new money at all? I just want to transfer in.

I just transferred my Coventry Cash ISA, really simple. No new contribution for this tax year. I currently have a Progressive Regular Saver, and was able to open the ISA account online after logging in. The transfer was done electronically, so was nice and easy.

Really? The terms state that you have to physically fill in a transfer-in form and post it off to Belfast.
They appear to have made it as difficult as possible for new applicants. Firstly they've hidden the actual button for starting the registration process, for which you cannot be verified purely by electronic means. Then they don't send an SMS to verify your phone number, however many times you press resend. I'm hugely disappointed, particularly as my big ISA is currently earning a whole 1 per cent lower with YBS. I really need to start shifting it today, without depending on the whim of Royal Mail.

Will do. No requirement for new money which is what I wanted. Taken advantage of both the Santander and First Direct offers and obviously maxed out my allowance.
Cheers

You appear to have opened this ISA with Progressive the same afternoon as being informed about them. Could you please comment on the stipulation in the screenshot on my previous post.
Thanks
