Would be nicer to get a "free electricity for an hour" prize. At least every winner would get some benefit.

Well I "won" a free Greggs coffee, being the generous chap I refused so someone else may benefit. Of course i could have made a special trip in an ICE vehicle, and wasted 45 minutes of my day, no ta , just finished my coffee which is definitely better than the one at greggs.

Another free Greggs coffee which we will use on a journey tomorrow we are making.
Have read, on another forum, an intereting response from Octopus over the normalisation of gambling using the idea of scratchcards.
In essence they don't really seem to care but do offer an option of opting out on their faqs section if anyone feels this is triggering. Their words not mine...triggering....interesting 🤔

And a Greggs coffee here as well, which I'll use at the Greggs I pass a couple of times a week.

I won a Lidl sweet treat from their bakery - I refused it as no chance of going anywhere near a Lidl in the next few days (I should have checked how long it wold be valid for)

Got the same and as we're heading to Lidl this afternoon I accepted it. Will probably treat myself to what my non-PC hubby calls a booby bun (we do tend to buy a pair) I think Lidl call them Belgian buns.

I always got a few Greggs coffee without getting up early, got one last Saturday at 10am when I was in town! Didn't win anything today, so it's a loss for me as I had a free coffee at some point every week! Plus have no desire for a sausage roll or the sugary goods from Lidl!

The coffees were released through the week, but always first thing in the morning I think. I used to claim mine on a tuesday morning as a rule - if I missed out then I'd claim on wednesday instead. Always Greggs though - I'm never up early enough for Nero!
