Mine was offline 20-21 Jun, for about 36 hrs (East Midlands).

I thought at first it was related to the local phone tower being down for maintenance, but the mini uses Zigbee and WiFi, and not 3g/4g.

mine too was offline for an unknown period, we were away and I hadn’t looked at it for over a week. Powered it off and back on again and it’s fine now. Pretty sure the little LED was white despite it now talking to the app.

Thanks all - Spoonie, I had wondered about the heat too, although the first time it dropped out it was before the temperatures really increased (and the second, was after they'd tailed off, even indoors) so my gut feeling is that in our case at least, that isn't a factor.

I'm leaning towards this being some sort of Octopus issue rather than an "us" issue, though. If it keeps happening I'll contact them and see if they can tell us anything.

Try a different power supply. The one you are using might be getting a little temperamental.
I have mine plugged in to a USB socket on the mini PC running the home automation, and has been pretty stable so far.

Mine's had just one interruption since our meter was fixed last Summer. 19th Feb this year it stopped sending data, sitting with LED Green, supposedly meaning it's connected to wireless but not the meter. From memory I don't think a power cycle fixed it, as I can see I emailed although it started working again before they responded.

Ours is stuck onto the USB power adapter with a bit of double sided sticky and a really short USB cable. It only works in one corner of the living room so that's much neater than lying on the floor.

That's a thought - mine's plugged into a Apple plug from one of my old phones I think - I could certainly try a change of plug.

Seriously doubt ours is a plug issue. It's connected to a proper USB 3 pin plug and plugged into a hard wired socket. I've just rebooted ours again as although I was getting import and gas, it's not been picking up our export since the weekend.

Ours is the same - I don't see any sense in not trying it though. Nothing to lose, really. If it goes again after that though I'll be requesting a replacement.

If the Home Mini is not picking up export, then it is more likely an issue with Octopus servers and the app.

Yeah my export is not coming in until late , very late and often a extra day later, but the PV feeds in to home assistant immediately and generally within +/- 0.1 kWh.
