Thanks Dakota, Lucielle and DITR
A very quiet weekend, I still get out for a long walk every day, but I’m looking forward to being able to exercise properly in a couple of weeks.
I bought something from V!nted and received something completely different. Contacted the seller (assuming she’d mixed up parcels) but it wasn’t an error from her, so must have been the courier 🙄. They’re investigating… it was only a cheap item, but it’s annoying. And then something I sold has been lost… it got to the collection point (a shop) but now isn’t there. I keep getting messages from the buyer but there’s nothing I can do about it and V!nted are investigating that too.

Oh that's annoying with the V!nted items, I've still got 1 purchase and 1 sale lost who knows where. Takes so long to be able to claim back too.

Vinted is great when it woks well and is a pain when it doesn’t.

Yeah, especially when the buyer contacts me like I can sort it 🙄
Feeling much better the last day or two, my arm can move normally now without discomfort.
They weight loss took a pause, I haven’t put anything back on but haven’t been dieting or exercising so nothing more lost. I’m focussing on eating whole foods though and walking every day. I’ve noticed I’m a bit of a sugar addict… if I eat well all day I don’t think about it, but if I have one biscuit/sweet/chocolate, I then eat poorly the rest of the day! I might have to treat sugar the way I treat alcohol, avoid 😂

very pleased to read that your recovery is going well.
I agree with others about vinted. It works well until it doesn't go according to plan.3 -
Both V!nted items got resolved today.
The item I sent was found at the shop after all. And the item I’d received in error, the courier accepted that they’d mixed up the parcels so I got a refund ☺️
Car passed it’s MOT 🥳 and we did an interim service so £195 all in.

that sounds like a very good day for sorting out routine stuff.
I've driven so many old bangers in the past that I still have a residual nervousness of MOTs even though my car is quite new.

We’re actually switching to an NHS lease, waiting for it to come in.
It’ll cost £300 a month but includes all the running costs. We’ve not enjoyed owning an older car… it cost £15k 2.5 years ago and is now only worth £8k. Running costs on top obviously. I know leasing is frowned upon but I can’t see a massive difference in cost really.
Started lists of ideas for Christmas gifts for the children, it’ll come round fast. We budget £200 for each of them which sounds like a lot, but it doesn’t go far 🫠
