Oh wow, great use of the pixie fund, sounds like you made lots of people happy, how lovely 💖

Hope it is the last chemo session for you, really pleased that the PICC line is coming out too. Hopefully you won't feel too wiped in the coming days x

Great news re scan and now lovely of you to treat your DDs friend. My Alton Towers years are over now I think. I cannot stand the queues or the being thrown around on roller coasters. I expect your DD and her friends will have a fantastic time though.

I'm full of admiration at the sprinkling of pixie dust in 2 days - that's viewed as a big success in pixie land.

Now it's time for a being kind to yourself few days.

Great news about the scan. Hope the final chemo went well and that the PICC line has now been removed. Did you get to ring the bell?

How lovely that you treated your DD’s friend 🥰

I hope the next few days go well and you don’t feel too bad. Lots of rest and relaxation for you right now hopefully.

I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪

PICC line is out, such a good milestone. I have to remind myself it’s not there anymore, I find myself still being careful not to catch it on clothing etc 😂

I’m midway through my feeling 💩 phase after chemo which times well with the start of my diet reset as I have absolutely zero appetite. Focussing on whole foods only and lots of water to hydrate.

The fancy scales came and I did my baseline measurements yesterday as Fridays will me my measuring/weighing day. They’re overly harsh this week as chemo/fluids/steroids puff me up. I don’t mind though, it’s still a starting point and I’m not giving myself any strict timelines, I just want to focus on being healthy moving forward.

    So Day 1:

    Weight: 170lb

    BMI: 25.3

    Body fat : 33%

    Waist measurement: 32

I’ve decided I’m not going to start an exercise plan beyond getting my steps in for now. Surgery is in 3.5 weeks anyway and I think the diet reset and recuperating from chemo is enough for my body for now.
