I’m going to do a bit of a reset and track progress on here.
I’m going to lose a bit of weight and build some muscle mass. I’m not overweight (BMI is 24.8 so close though 😂). My aim is 21.7, which I’ve been multiple times over the years, it’s the weight I feel comfortable at.I’m going to do this by doing HBD which is a healthy eat plan aimed at getting your health in alignment and reducing inflammation. I’ll be combining that with 3-4 strength workouts using the L@dder app, plus aiming for 7-10k steps a day.
There’s a reset on the HBD group starting on 5th Sept and a new program starting on L@dder on 7th so it’s all pretty good timing. I’ll do a weekly weigh in and pop the results on here to keep me accountable.
I weighed myself today and I’m 168lb, I’m 5ft 9 so not as heavy as it sounds. I’m aiming for 147lbs.

I had a chest, abdomen, pelvis CT a couple of weeks ago as I’d been having some pain in my ribs. Results back today and it’s all clear 🥳
In the meantime, the pain had resolved but it’s been reassuring having a check of all my organs.
This whole cancer thing has made me realise that you could have all sorts growing inside and not know it, I only knew about my breast cancer as I found the lump, I had no other symptoms.
I’m going to be such a hypochondriac after all this 🫠DFD March 2025 (£35000 paid off)

That’s brilliant news and I imagine a genuine worry off of your mind.
Can I persuade you to celebrate with ACOTAR book 4? 😉 😂 I’m going to start book 3 today - it arrived yesterday but I didn’t start it as I didn’t want to feel like an addict. It kept staring at me from across the room though 🤣.PBs £2550 (including £1k EF & £500 Christmas fund)

I’ve upgraded our scales… we’ve got cheapy Renpho ones which are good, but we wanted more accurate ones for body fat percentage etc. I was going to pay for them out of personal spends, but my DH has said he’d use them too so have paid out of joint account instead 😁
I dread to think what my body fat % is, I might pop it on here with my weekly weigh in and waist circumference. Keep me motivated 😂
I’ve also dusted off my Oura ring… I stopped wearing it as the stats were depressing during chemo. But now it’s coming to an end I thought I’d wear it during this last cycle and then watch how the stats improve as my poor old body recovers 😁
