Pleased to have discovered a random tomato plant in the border!! Obviously from one of last year's rotten tomatoes. Don't think I'll get anything off it but it makes me smile that nature is so wayward!!

I have one growing in the corner of the lawn.It has flowers but suspect we won't get any fruit.

Another car full of stuff taken to the tip today. I am almost finished de-nettling the back garden, and am now emptying and dismantling the shed. The weather from tomorrow is going to be rainy and thundery for the best part of a week which is going to slow me down, but actually emptying the shed is not as daunting as I feared it was going to be. It’s mostly big chunky stuff to move out and give away on Freecycle - kids bikes, barbecues and chimineas I will never use etc. And lawnmowers. Every time Mr CJ bought a new lawnmower, he kept the old one ‘just in case’. There are five spares in there, not counting the two I actually use. Five. And four huge battery powered strimmers. And two rotavators.

I have 2 lawnmowers and a strimmer @C_J and I don't actually have any grass! 😂

That is a lot of lawnmowers. Do you have a men's shed locally? There is one up here that takes them and repairs them to sell on

Oh diolch @WelshmansDaughter that’s an excellent suggestion! I hadn’t thought of that - I was going to give them away on Freecycle but that is not without its stress with people messing you about, not turning up etc. There is a men’s shed in a neighbouring town, I’ll contact them this week. 😁

I definitely need to go and get more lawnmowers! Only one here for our pocket-handkerchief lawn in London. I am very impressed with attachment use @Rhyddid2026 a useful life skill indeed! Well done all all your decluttering @C_J it's been inspiring to read.
Two Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) forms for my father signed and posted on Monday. That has been on my list for over 3 years now. He did health and finance in the end. I feel a lot lighter now that's taken care of.

I booked concert tickets yesterday for me, my husband and my friend. I also had to book a hotel in London and then another night in Brighton. I just booked my dog into the kennel too.
