I got the black BT Mango ones. I have to say they look REALLY cheap and plasticy ... my O/H hates them but we gave them a try and the sound quality is really low/poor too. I don't have any hearing problems but it was difficult to hear what callers were saying unless I was in a room on my own in complete silence - this was after adjusting all the setting to high. Needless to say, I'll be taking them back tomorrow.
HTHI can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!I thunk I've made you think for a minute!:j :rotfl: :j0 -

Hi
Upgraded my home phones in October/November and bought these. Have been really impressed with them. Have had no problems with sound either.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-KXTG7122ES-Cordless-Telephone-Answering/dp/B000FIDD2Y/ref=sr_1_26?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1199397627&sr=8-26
Ordered them in the middle of the postal strike and they still arrived the next day.0 -

I always look for recs too. For phones, I found:
www.amazon.co.uk
and
http://www.cordless-phones.uk.com/
seemed to have the most user reviews.Stompa0 -
Im currently looking around for a cordless phone as a replacement for the one at home which is an ageing Binatone-very low volume and as far as clarity goes, worse than Bt phones!
As far as features are concerned I was looking at the best possible clarity/reception bar none. Not really bothered about what the phone looks like as Im not looking for a beauty/looks competition!
It seems that having a phone that can handle both skype and normal phone calls can be an added advantage ?
Any thoughts please do write..
Thanks in advance
