Best Mastercard Credit Card for overseas use
I've had the Halifax Clarity credit card for years and use purely for overseas spending. Since moving from Mastercard to Visa recently, I'd now like to get a 2nd card for overseas use. I do have a Chase Debit Card as back up but would prefer a Credit Card too.
Any recommendations?

If you specifically want a Mastercard with no overseas fees, the Barclaycard Rewards card is worth a look. No foreign transaction fees and you still get Section 75 protection as it’s a credit card.
I’ve found having both a Visa and Mastercard abroad is sensible anyway as occasionally one network works where the other doesn’t.
Your Chase card is a good backup to keep alongside it.

Thanks but the Barclaycard Rewards card appears to be Visa not Mastercard?

NatWest or RBS Credit card. No fee, no FX loading for purchases. It's MasterCard (but curiously the Travel Reward card is Visa!)

Why not add the Chase credit card to the debit card? Or are you specifically looking for a different provider?

No I’m not specifically looking for a different provider. So yes I could add that or the RBS card mentioned as I do have an RBS current account.
Also just found the Virgin Everyday Cashback credit card which also gives cashback at 1% for first 3 months and 0.25% thereafter so a possible choice.

Why does that matter?

Chase would be the obvious choice as it will use the existing app, login etc plus give you 15 months interest free spending if you so wish. RBOS would also be a decent option as you could also use existing app/login.
Given the Virgin Money brand is on the way out, you'll probably find their card becomes Nationwide branded and they currently use the Visa network only.
