Evening folks,

Well, yesterdays shift was *long* - I was doing a different job though, stock receipting, it was quite enjoyable. Fingers and toes and arms and legs crossed I will be offered a full time job there - a couple of people have mentioned it and I have also been given an application form to hand into another person about working full time. Work did phone me asking me to come in today, but I said no as had already made plans (and was knackered). I am working tomorrow however - they are very short staffed atm, so it looks like I am in pretty much full time anyway.

So, today, we went to OHs nans for dinner, then popped to Trago, as I had to look for new steelies - mine are giving me blisters and generally crippling me. I want some of the trainer kind. No joy. However, we did get two Thermos flasks for work (one for OH, one for me), so now thats even more money saved because we won't have to buy hot drinks :j :j :j.

Came home and just chilled out and looked at puter. Oh, and did the washing up. Am just about to get cracking with the pile of ironing. must update my grocery signature too.

Blairweech: I assume you mean steel toe shoes = steelies?? try: https://www.shoesforcrews.com - I wear them for work and they are great - will last for years, so cheaper in the long run. They have trainer styles.
