Not real doom. Just "Why dis sock touch me wrong" energy.

One tiny thing may make yer face turn warboss before breakfast.

    Very powerful. Very dumb.

If mood start swingin club today, do not let it choose da whole day.

Grumble. Snack. Walk in circle like cursed beast.

Then come back and act normal-ish.

Today favour da orc who can say "I angry, but I also need sandwich"

    ORC WIZZDUM

Bad mood loud, but sandwich louder.

My pills didn't come (2 weeks after ordering) so I phoned the pharmacy. They had sent it through, but nothing back from the surgery. Phoned surgery, impossible - if they sent it, it would have been done. They offered to get it sent through if I or someone acting on my behalf, could collect it this afternoon.

Sorted through one of the bags they had dumped behind the back door. Mostly recyclables but all jumbled up.

Went out at 10 to 4 pm to catch the bus. Hobbled across the carpark. Long queue (I waited by the door having noted who was last in the queue). My turn came. Can collect after 4.30pm on Monday. I looked at her. Do you need it now. Yes.

She put the prescription in a basket and took it to the pharmacist. Long wait - approx half an hour but my pills were ready just before time was up. I hobbled my fastest to the bus stop. Driver was having a smoke. Hobble faster. He got back on the bus but waited for me.

Stop nearest home still roped off so arrived at the bus station. Made my way through the bus station with frequent rests. Headed for b00tz and scraped in just in time to get sandwiches and folic acid pills (they now close at 5 pm, it's always been 5.30pm).

Made my way home, very slowly and in pain. Frequent stops, limping and yelping towards the finish line. Tried to get cash out of the machine - 2 failed attempts so got my card out. Hobbled in thre front door, went to the toilet then grabbed both my bags and got on the bed, Only moved to get to and from the bathroom. Totally wiped out. Washing stayed on the line for a second night. No-one died. My body will recover. Will write a stiff email to the doctors because they have the wrong issuing date on my prescription. I'm running out each month and the delay is getting longer.

Grateful for a lady who told me my shoelace was undone and tied it for me, doctors and pharmacists (curses to their computer systems), surprise meals from the freezer (fishfingers shared with DS3 yesterday, popcorn scampi with vegetable fingers for lunch). I have started browsing the half price offers when ordering from local stores and have bought 'bundles' and some things I like but which I would usually consider too expensive. Every drawer is an adventure - I've taken out a bag of frozeen onions to defrost.

Hugs beanie, rest as much as possible and do something nice for yourself.

Boiler man has been and done a temporary fix, so we have heating and hot water again. He has ordered a new part and will fit it later this week, when he had been booked in anyway, to do the routine annual service. However, the boiler is old, main components are failing and its days are numbered. We will have to have a new one before too long. Thankfully, we have the money saved to cover emergencies.

OH has gone to a funeral some distance away. He went with DS, as OH has the beginnings of cataracts and is no longer confident to drive to the other side of the country. DS was happy to drive. Hopefully they will be back soon. As for me, I have walked the dog twice, done the weekly shop and some bits of cleaning, but mainly garden jobs.

I have put out the tomato and cucumber plants and repotted lots of the other things that are left in the greenhouse, mainly various flower seedlings, zinnias, dwarf sunflowers, allysum, violas and geraniums, all grown from seed or cuttings. I am pleased with these, as I don't have a proper greenhouse, just one of those cupboard type things that goes against the wall. I still have more to do, but ran out of steam. When they are a bit bigger, and the foliage from the spring bulbs has died down, I will plant them in my pots.

I sowed some carrots in modules, as they aren't germinating well in the ground with the dry weather - it has rained a bit today, but not enough. I will maybe do some more veg modules tomorrow.

I have picked a bag of lettuce and another of baby spinach for salads 😊

I am not bothering with cooking today, as I don't know when OH will be back. I bought some nice rolls at the supermarket, so we will have those plus salad and cold chicken.

Grateful for DS taking OH to his relative's funeral (though I was very sorry to hear of their death, I didn't go as it was so far away, and we weren't close, in fact we had only seen the person once in about 20 years. OH and DS are representing our side of the family) getting some garden jobs done and lots of salad leaves.

Cousin's funeral was lovely, good to meet up with all my remaining cousins. Now I'm in pain. Have taken a pill, will eat and then have a snooze. Blood tests tomorrow but not till the afternoon so can have a lie in. Then just roll along to the BH (moving white goods and storage units).
