I like the last sentiment @grandmanerd
I’m glad it’s the end of the week. A nice short week after the holiday Monday.
we’ve been for our end of working week drink and then home for scrambled eggs and beans on toast.
Brought my lunch to work as I usually do and also brought some bread to toast. I did go out for a packet of the lovely Polish wafer biscuits. They were demolished by us. Couple of bites and they are gone.
Grateful this evening forGood fun colleagues
Tuna and bag salad for lunch yum with avocado oil
A drink and chat with DH after work
I feel it’s been a good week with mindful spending on some things I needed - family birthday gifts, kilo peanut butter and a pair of hiking boots as mine had split and also had a hole after years of hard wear.
Hope you have a good evening folks3 -
New bottles of water used to fill the freezer.
They threw down a bathmat so I added my bathmat, the mattress protector and my oldest pair of trainers.
Really frustrated by things I can't do. Nearly gave in and went to buy a phone. Decided to check under the armchair. In the space between the couch and the armchair (both arms overlap so it was very dark in there) I saw one of the small jute bags I use to hold my purse, tissues etc when I go out. I found a phone. It was the one that I can use to make phone calls so I charged it up and later was able to book one of my appointments.
I am going to have a neurology consultation. They have decided an outpatient appointment would be best and will let me know when they have a space. They are experiencing long wait times.
All meals from stores
Grateful for finding a phone (and diary and best notebook were in there together with blood paperwork), meals that are ready to eat (no thinking, no cooking - 3 mins in microwave) and I am walking better.

@grandmanerd I hope you feel better soon. Look after yourself.
DS and DGD nearly 5 came through on the train for lunch and afternoon so that was lovely. The weather was great so we spent a lot of time out in the park and at the swing park too then time making bracelets (kit came via big river company but soooo worth it).Easy lunch of chicken stew which I made yesterday, base is boneless chicken drumsticks my new favourite as so tasty and reasonable priced too. New potatoes broccoli carrots and red cabbage. They brought home made banana bread made with coconut oil instead of butter. Delicious.
just in after walking our dog and I’ll be ready for an easy tea of scrambled eggs and beans on toast soon.
some ironing to do for work clothes for the week.
grateful for:Seeing DS and DGD
Face Time with the grandkids in England too
Sunshine, so appreciated as the forecast had been for rain a few days ago. It was so lovely to see lots of families in the park

Glad the wedding weather was good, beanie. We had lovely sunshine yesterday but it's gone grey with a cold wind today.
Today I am grateful for starting a new workout program, for a lovely hot shower and plenty of moisturising after, for chatting with a friend this evening, for an afternoon of Murder she Wrote, Indiana Jones and Columbo.

Grateful for resting, spending the afternoon sorting out rubbish and recycling and slowly slowly clearing space (I have found my screen wipes so giving the laptop screen some attention but am still looking for the bite cream I bought last year)
