The most important spiritual growth doesn't happen when you're meditating or sitting on a yoga mat
It happens in the midst of conflict when you're frustrated, angry or scared and you're doing the same old thing and then you suddenly realise that you have the choice to do it differently (369 Gratitude)
Each of us is a patchwork of all the people we've known. Even if you never again see someone who has lent their thread to the fabric of your life, they are always with you. We are all connected, forever woven together into the lives of one another (Positively Present)

Home organisation tips that work (Ordinary and Happy)
General: Declutter regularly. Label everything. Have a place for every item. One in, one out rule. Have a donation to add to.

Today got "sutationrprise compliment" energy
Not fancy speech. Not bard singin at you
More lible ke somebody grunt "You did good" and suddenly yer whole skull stand taller.
Weird lil boost. Take it
If praise show up today don't slap it away like suspicious bug.
Let it land. Nod like warboss.
Pretend you knew already
You earned a small win, even if it came wrapped in awkward words
Today favour da orc who accept good thing without wrestlin it first.

"Compliment not trap. Probably"
(There's a lot more on the organisation one but I'm frightened of losing the whols post and I have a small cut on my typing finger)

Thanks for these
I like the one in one out. I don’t buy much at all now as I appreciate less ‘stuff’ but I will apply this rule more carefully.

I'm up and I'm dressed - what more do you want. Tried to sort a problem last night, got a helpful reply overnight but when I tried to use that this morning, everything fell apart. So going for the small wins today:
Moved a chair to sort through a pile of small (tiny) items. Spotted a bag of filters so changed the one in the CPAP machine.
Moved the contents of two boxes into my regular boxes (most are wallpaper covered) and broke down the smaller ones.
Sorting through a large box of candles and accessories. Currently have one box with tealights and box of matches to use up. Second box with several boxes of cook's matches (had problems getting them in the past so grab some whenever I see them)
Started hayfever pills. Also found a plaster to cover up the cut on my finger (so it will knit together well). Both items where were I expected them to be (second tier of the trolley so it may look worse than it is.
Some upright tealight/ votive holders were packed into the space on top of the trolley to hold filters, eyedrops and other small items,
I have 7 portioned meals plus ingredients to do more, so will reassess the remaining derosted veg later'
Haven't yet been to vote (must organise postal vote for next time)
Grateful for satisfying episode of Inspector Linley (guest baby cop was Leonard from Grantchester with a mop of shiny curls), taking things slowly (fingers - especially the middle one, shoulders and back are aching from compensating for forefinger)
ps I'm having pizza because DS3 ordered one instead of using the remaining one from the freezer.

you’ve been busy @grandmanerd
I had hairdresser after work so am pleased with the cut. It’s curly so is quite forgiving. Quite a bit off this time.
Walked past a few bus stops to get steps inVoted then went to the pub and we had a glass of wine and a burger so that was tea sorted.
Grateful for
votingHaircut as was needed
Having lovely meal out, we don’t often
