While you don't qualify for 1 x £100 eVoucher, I would argue that you should qualify for 2 x £50 eVouchers for doing two full transfers of between £10,000 and £24,999.99.

I just re-read the T&Cs and nowhere does it state that the offer is limited to 1 transfer per new fixed rate ISA account opened. While the quoted example mentions that you'd qualify for requesting 2 transfers into 2 different ISAs (so you might infer that that would be necessary), it doesn't explicitly state that that is mandatory and that requesting 2 transfers into 1 ISA won't qualify.

My mum last year transferred 2 ISA's into 1 fixed and got 2 £50 e-vouchers. They came on separate emails but on the same day, her transfers happened within a week of each other. Did your transfer happen close to one another? As maybe the first one squeezed into the first batch of issued emails that most received this Wednesday (my parents completed 14th and 16th April) and the 2nd transfer maybe will be in the next batch of issued emails (as I know on another forum someone who's transfer happened on the 24th hadn't received theirs yet)?

Well it's a bit of a long story if you want to read on...on the same day I completed 2 applications for transfers from different providers, one worked smoothly and the monies landed in the new santander isa but the other didn't.

I didnt receive any notification/communicaton that there was an issue, why had the other monies from external provider not arrived? I was getting worried. Though when I complained they said they did send a letter...to where? I asked they were unable to tell me. It's not in my "statements and documents" or in the post, "oh well we did"!

Had I not chased with Santander to ask what the issue was I would not have managed to repeat my application within the 14day window to deposit new monies into that new ISA account. The chap from complaints department seemed to read from a script and didn't really understand what point i was making and wanted to offer me money to apease me and close the complaint.

I had spent time in chat as well as calling both external provider and santander as both were saying it's the other. I gave up, and said ok I'll take the money and be done with dealing with this.. because the second transfer finally did reach the account.

So from the first application, which was successful which let's say.. happened on day 1 to the second application which was successfully submitted was 14 days after. Just within window, so there was a gap.

Interesting about your mum receiving 2 emails last year. I wonder if I still have hope? Maybe t's and c's were different last year? I did think their main advert with breakdown of evouchers amounts against qualifying monies were misleading, they really should have put one line at the top or underneath, only one evoucher for one isa transfer in.

I was also thinking I should have accumulated both transfers into one holding isa account and then transferred to santander, had I realised only one evoucher. Maybe something to bear in mind for others doing a transfer to Santander. I'm hoping that this post is useful for others

For a £100 e-voucher ○ If you complete a full ISA transfer with a balance of below £25,000, you won’t be eligible for a £100 e-voucher. ○ If you make more than one ISA transfer of amounts of less than £25,000, but with a cumulative balance of £25,000 or more, you won’t be eligible for a £100 e-voucher. For example, if you complete a transfer of £10,000 and second transfer for £20,000, this won’t be eligible. ○ If your ISA transfer doesn’t qualify for a £100 e-voucher, it could still be eligible for a £50 e-voucher if you meet the requirements.

    She then wrote:

Therefore, as you've made two individual ISA transfers that accumulate to over £25,000, it would not meet the eligibility criteria for the £100 e-voucher on the basis that the transfer is split into two

I can see the argument that your two transfers don't qualify for a £100 voucher, but can't see anything in that extract that supports their assertion that they don't qualify for two £50 vouchers, even though they do mention elsewhere the example of qualifying for two by transferring into different ISAs. Perhaps worth pushing back a bit more, and they might capitulate and offer £50 to settle a complaint anyway?

How long is the voucher valid?

Can I use it in various outlets as and when?

Can I allow my sister to use it?

    Thanks.

You have 12 weeks from receiving the e-voucher email to change it up on onecode.co.uk. You can pick a number of e-gift cards with different companies or change the whole amount up with one, totally up to you.

As it is a e-gift card that you receive, you can give it to whoever you want to use. Dependent on the company you pick, to how long the gift card is valid for.

I had this issue last year with a transfer to Santander. Nothing seemed to be happening with my request, so I had to chase Santander and the other bank. The bank I transferred from admitted it was their fault after raising a complaint, but Santander gave me incorrect information. I also asked Santander why no letter in my documents and they said they only send declined letters in the post, I explained why do they not ring the customer or have in your online documents like all the other letters from Santander ISA team re progressing and completion? Response was they just don't!

So disappointing. I am not the only one i know it's happened to.

I've asked them to raise a complaint, cos this happened to me. When he did, the customer service lady transferred him to isa dept but phone went dead. I just remembered this also happend to me because it's the weekend and they don't work on the weekend.

So again, customer services are not telling these customers we'll let isa team know whats happened and they will call you on Monday or call this no. on Monday. It is poor. He's fed up that transfer didn't happen and stuck with his Tesco Isa.
