Good luck spinning your albums on top of the smart speaker, which I believe is the purpose of the turntable….😁😉

I have a projector and 100" screen and that's plenty for me. I'm limited by the size of the room so can't go bigger.

Mine is 58" Panasonic. I could go a bit bigger I suppose which I may or may not do whenever this TV packs in. It's about 11yrs old now.

I don't watch a lot of TV. About 1hr per day after work/before bed. I'll sit down & watch something, might be a 30min YouTube video, a 45min show, an hour show. My limit is about an hour as that's all that's left of the day before bed & I'm too tired to do anything requiring concentrating.

I have it on a fairly large (imo) TV because that's what I want. Could I have a dinky TV? Yes. So long as it plays what I want to watch. But I don't want it on a dinky TV.

Best reason for going "large" - in my humble opinion - is for watching sport.

Can't beat watching a big rugby match on a big screen TV with a decent sound system and a glass of something cool - unless you happen to be rich enough to go to the actual match !!

I watch a 26" in the living room, 19" in the bedroom when I'm unwell. Still Freeview. And iPlayer etc on laptop.

When they put better programmes on I might consider larger but not bothered about seeing celebrities larger than life.

A friend has a screen covering the entire wall.

Music, podcasts and books are more fun. Yup, got a sound system.

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

That is a bit like comparing McDonalds to a Michelin Starred Restaurant!

Both will get you fed (sort of) but at very different standards and price…….

I dont see where you are coming from on that comment ,we have a 50 inch tv ,really enjoy watching football on it BUT that is my choice ,dont go out into the street and tell everyone what i have got ,i think you might have an inferiority complex or are just being hurtfull to others because you dont have one.

Im definitely not a football fan, I prefer a number of smaller TVs around the house so I can watch programs from the kitchen or bedroom or study or library etc. I can't stand large TVs in sitting or reception rooms because they often completely dominate the room they are in.

As someone has already said large screen TV's are fine in cinema/film rooms.

Its a question of scale and size of your viewing room.

    I have a 55 inch TV (replaced a 48inch).

However sitting room is 20 foot long, with 10 foot high ceilings, so TV definitely does not overwhelm the space in anyway. I sit 10 feet away from the screen, which is optimum in view of my slowly declining eyesight.

Didn't think it would be long before the ill informed posts started.

Not sure what you think the TV has been Prioritised over. Making statements like that shows a complete lack of knowledge of the subject. Ignorance is a sorry state to be in, publicising the fact by posting statements like that makes it even worse and advertises your poor judgement to far more than just your close acquaintances.
