I have to be honest, now it’s got to this stage, I’m seriously thinking ‘Is it worth it?’

I mean, I can pay £120 and have done with it. The cost of an evening out or 3 hours at work, as weighed against a day or more writing and refining a WS, then half a day attending court with no guaranteed outcome.

I don’t care about the money really. It would be different if it were £500 or a grand. But £120? My time is more valuable to me and I have bigger commitments and priorities than this fight over such a modest amount.

    Only you can decide that.

From the sign, I think the best argument is incorporation as you've identified.

The signs are different. The printout is meaningless. A photo of a sign backing onto a road doesn't show its prominence from the car park.

Additionally, no offer to non-customers of KFC/Costa. Though, they'd probably try to frame it as a contractual license to enter. They'd have to prove sufficient signs on entry in that case.

I'm a random person on the internet. I hold no legal qualifications and nothing I say is advice.

here’s the car park entrance in December 2022. No signage at all.

And in May 2023, after my parking there. You can see signs around the car park but nothing at the entrance.

and now- sign on the left as you enter.

No entrance sign is a serious breach of the mandatory rules in the IPC Code of Practice version that applied at the time.

Moorside usually discontinue UKCPS claims. Have they paid the hearing fee and submitted a WS bundle?

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
