Submit it just before the WS deadline shown on your court order, if Moorside Legal don't discontinue beforehand, with an N279 document by email

When is the Hearing Fee due?

8th September

Got a letter from Moorside to say their client is willing to accept £150. Otherwise they are “instructed to prepare for the court hearing” where “a judgment may be entered against you, which could negatively affect your credit rating”.

Would that be Moorside or is a new solicitor in the frame. Standard frightener words; just follow the process.

Yes, Moorside. Edited now. Thanks.

The deadline for MoorSIDE to pay their court fee was 4pm on Tuesday 8th September. Is there any way for me to check whether they did, other than waiting for a letter?

Moorside, not Moorcroft ( pottery. )
Definitely do not wait for a Letter !
Phone the court and ask

Yeah I was on hold for half an hour and eventually gave up. I’ll try again Monday. I also logged into MCOL but there are no cases under my name, presumably as it’s been transferred to my local court?

MCOL wash their hands of it once they transfer the case to the court of choice, so no updates occur after the transfer
