My DQ still doesn’t show on the MCOL site. Theirs does but not mine. I did receive an auto acknowledgment of my email from the DQ Team at CNBC so I know it arrived. I’m worried now that maybe I didn’t complete it properly. Would they contact me if that were the case?

I just re-read it and the only part I’m unsure about is the signature; they don’t expect an actual signature do they? I just typed my name. Also, I didn’t tick anything under the final bit ‘legal representative’.

Its fine, as long as you filled in the downloaded N180 DQ pdf document from the government website, and a digital or typed signature is fine

So as long as you received the auto response email back from the CNBC then its just the usual delays

    Why not just re-send it?

I could do. The ‘send by’ date is long past though.

    But you aren't late.

We come across this all the time.

Of course you should just forward it again and change the subject line to URGENT: UNPROCESSED N180 - CLAIM NO. Xxxxxxxxx.

I’ve just had my Mediation Appointment. I offered them a token ‘go away’ sum of £10, which they refused. I told the (very nice) mediator i believed i had a strong case backed by good supporting evidence and was prepared to go all the way if necessary. They responded to say that they would review my case if I was willing to email them all of my evidence. Perhaps my mention of Louise Haigh has scared them😆

I’m not inclined to send them my evidence but on the other hand maybe they’ll abandon their claim? What do you think? Is this standard?

Standard stuff, ignore them, follow the 8 steps in the defence template thread and study post 2 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum

Lastly, look at the 904 discontinuations in the discontinuations thread by Umkomaas, study the timelines and steps, because Moorside Legal are following similar patterns

Even better if they discontinue before the hearing fee is due, meaning that they get £zero, as is currently being seen in other UKCPS, Moorside Legal cases on here

  • right. Got the court date now. I have roughly 4 weeks to submit a Witness Statement. Am I best getting it done asap or leaving it till late? Does it make a difference?
