Pcns have been capped at a maximum of £100 for the last 14 years, the signs and the pcn will state the actual charge, so look at those to see the actual charge in your case, presumably its £100 per pcn

So the extra £70 is the assumed debt collectors fee, but the Beavis case a decade ago determined that recovery was included in the actual charge ( £85 in that case ) so it can never be over £100

ok, Moorside have responded, with detailed rebuttals of all my defence points. They have said they intend to serve documents directly to me at the email i provided in my defence. They also note that i have used a ‘template defence’. They add that their client intends to take this all the way to court and that i can avoid this by throwing £250 at them.

DQ question: I submitted my DQ by email last week, and received an email acknowledgment from CNBC. However, in MCOL, my case doesn’t show the DQ as being received. It does theirs, but not mine. Is this normal? The date for submission has now passed. I think I filled it in ok, assuming a simple electronic signature is acceptable at the end.
