MMM how's the rescue horse settling in, what sort is she/he? I bought/rescued a horse very cheaply once from an owner who beat and didn't feed him; vet and I thought he would last a few months but I had him for 16yrs.

Mum's gloves and Easter cards now packed. It makes a nice change to write a cheerful card; there is a lovely card shop I pass on my way home from drumming and all I seem to buy these days is sympathy/thinking of you cards.

Stopped to get some seeds at local garden shop today, also happened to get some cheerful pansies and an unusual-coloured (AND YELLOW STICKERED!!) primula for the hanging basket outside the front door.

Morning,

Been another busy week. Tuesday I had the job centre and then went back to DD2's to do more sorting and clearing. Another 2 black sacks of rubbish and 2 for charity. I am allowing her to go through it to see if she can sell any of it first.

We still haven't finished! But she is back at work now so have to fit the rest in on days off.

Wednesday I had my MH group which I always find quite draining so run out of umph.

Thursday I had to see the nurse for the uncomfortable ladies test. I then went to DD1's mother in law ish for coffee and chat. Afterwards I went to Mr Al to get a few bits.

Today I have another MH group then I have to go yo my parents to do my budget for the month (I can't be trusted) as I've just got my money.

Flying wise I've been tidying the front room. S/S the kitchen and bathroom and tidied the bedroom and changed the bed.

I know its not a lot but hope to do more over the weekend after see my friend for coffee/lunch tomorrow.

I'm pondering on how to zing the lists up a bit…any thoughts appreciated.

Went to outswimming cancer last night - it's at a different pool to where Monday's session is held and it's warmer and has fewer attendees so all good. Towel etc needs drying but not sure the weather is on my side.

Today I will be doing admin; out later dining then the theatre - Operation Mincemeat

Morning, it's another sunny start to the day here.

My list for today

• Take DD to her MRI appointment for her wrist
• Paid stuff (mucking out stables, dog walks)
• Spend an hour writing up uni notes
• Spend an hour sorting out my diary
• Do physio exercises
• Sort out cash flow projections for the next 6 months
• Spend an hour on some business planning and admin (I need to plan out social media content, send invoices and look for wholesalers to get products from)
• Tidy the pile at the side of the sofa. I always seem to end up with a pile there when I am busy working on assignments
• Load DW and switch it on
• Update Mr T order for delivery tomorrow
• Empty TD and put the laundry away which was washed yesterday
• Take DD to the stables so she can deal with her ponies
• Take DS to his drama group (second show tonight, last night went well)
• Sort my bag for tomorrow as it's an early start with lambing

I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Friday.

Morning all,

Living in fear now that Valli’s spring cleaning seems to have uncovered her whip…

DH is out again. It is raining. So no excuses not to put in some flying effort this morning, and spare room it is, as per the list. There is no bed to change (bed settee, used as and when needed), so a flick of the duster and a run round with the vacuum cleaner will see that room done.
I’m not very good on coming up with list suggestions, but will ponder. Personally, I’m a sucker for the Extras and the challenges that Valli and Natty come up with.

Morning all

After a good start to the week, including deep cleaning of fridge and oven, not much flying yesterday as I woke up with dreadful sore throat, sinusitis & no energy 🫩 couldn't go to my lovely gardening volunteering job. I reckon it's my necrotic, infected tooth causing it 🧟‍♀️ - having root canal next week, so hopefully it'll sort it out.

Feeling a bit better today but still not much energy, so am restricted to a bit of PUPA, S&S and drinking tea! Speaking of.......

.... cuppa anyone? OH has put the kettle on

Good Afternoon

I’m starting on my RoD which is my hall cupboard. So far I’ve moved 1/2 the items from the floor and into the bedroom.

I filled 1 bag of rubbish, 1 bag of paper rubbish, filed some notes.

TO DO AFTER MEAL

sort out blue washing bag with non washing stuff in it,sort out black case and sort out rest of stuff from bedroom floor.

I have pegged out swimming stuff as it's brightened up slightly and I have fallen into the deep, deep hole that is the internet and done NOTHING.

Pleased to announce that the Wii and everything that goes with it is going to the nurture room at DiL's school. After Easter hols that is.
